Besides the statistical highlights, here are some observations I made during the game:

Jason Campbell and Charlie Frye were the two most impressive quarterbacks on the field.  They both were very accurate with their passes and had great pocket awareness, both avoided possible sacks on numerous occasions.  Both should be drafted between the 2nd and 3rd round.  Matt Roth and Bill Swancutt terrorized the South's offensive linemen.  Typically they met each other in the backfield without meeting much resistance. Roth secured himself as a 1st round selection, Swancutt should go between the 2nd and 3rd round. Darren Sproles showed how he accomplished so much in his college career.  He seemed to have a second gear every time he had the ball. His size (5'5") is still a concern and could cause him to fall to the 3rd round. He should be a productive back in the NFL and could really surprise in a year or two. James Butler showed great hands with his interception. He should be a late first day or early second day pick. Fred Gibson and Reggie Brown both showed why they should be drafted by the end of round two. Alex Smith showed great route running skills and good hands. He should be drafted on the first day. Cedric Houston is a good power runner and was able to add yards after contact. He also showed he can be a receiver out of the backfield. He should be drafted by the middle of the third round. Noah Herron showed a decent burst of speed and a knack for being a receiver. He could move up to the first day but I think he's an early fourth round pick now. The majority of the offensive linemen showed good blocking and pass protection skills. Logan Mankins, Khalif Barnes, and Adam Terry should all be second round picks. David Baas showed his versatility as a center and guard, he should be drafted by the end of the third round.  Cody McCarty showed great route running skills and good hands, he should be a second day pick. Jammal Brimmer is a good hitter and is good in run support. He should be a late 3rd or early 4th round pick. Kirk Morrison was always around the ball even when he dropped into coverage. He should be a late 3rd or early 4th round pick. Mike Patterson and Marcus Spears both put pressure on the quarterbacks. Spears solidified himself as a top 20 pick. Patterson should be drafted by the middle of the 2nd round. Matt Jones moved around between tight end and wide receiver. His size presents a large mismatch against smaller cornerbacks. He moved himself up into the third round with a possibility of moving higher if he improves his speed. Dustin Colquitt and Mike Nugent both showed excellent legs. Nugent should go between the 2nd and 3rd round. Colquitt could be a 3rd or 4th round pick. Nick Collins showed he is able to provide run support which is necessary for a cornerback now. He should be taken before the 4th and 5th round. Alfred Fincher and Leroy Hill both showed good tackling technique. They could be early second day picks. Alex Holmes showed good route running ability and good hands. He should be drafted on the second day. Mark Clayton didn’t have many opportunities to showcase himself but he didn’t do anything to lower his stock. He should be the second or third wide receiver drafted.

Overall, the majority of the Senior Bowl players should be drafted. There will not be many that can make a major impact in 2005 but I wouldnt be surprised to see some of them being voted to the Pro Bowl by 2008.
