NFL Draft
I’m back with my latest installment of my four part series, Finding a Needle in a Hay Stack. In this article I will be looking at San Jose State receiver James Jones. Here is a little something about him.
James Jones is very smooth when he makes cuts. His adequate quickness allows him run decent short and intermediate routes. He flashes the ability to have a clean release verse press coverage. He also is good at finding the soft spots in the zone. He’s very competitive and that makes him not afraid to go across the middle. He will fight for the ball in mid air and will make the tough catches in traffic. Jones also catches the ball at its highest point. He’s a good punt returner and has excelled in big games at San Jose State. I’ve seen James Jones being drafted in rounds 6 and 7 of the NFL Draft.
