AFC West
Round 1, Pick 16 (16) Larry English DE 6'2" 274 Northern Illinois Pick Analysis: Tremendous talent. Has replacement for Lights Out written all over him. Might not reach full fantasy value till 2010 but it could be huge if you can wait.
Round 3, Pick 14 (78) Louis Vasquez OG 6'5" 333 Texas Tech Pick Analysis: With Mike Goff gone Vasquez is a decent replacement and a need for the team. He will battle Forney (former Falcon).
Round 4, Pick 13 (113) Vaughn Martin DT 6'3" 331 Western Ontario (Canada) Pick Analysis: Not much data on this kid as he grew up and played in Canada. He put up some eye popping numbers at the Michigan pro day.
Round 4, Pick 33 (133) (Comp) Tyronne Green OG 6'2" 309 Auburn Pick Analysis: Nothing but a depth player. Weak work ethic is the word on Green
Round 4, Pick 34 (134) (Comp) Gartrell Johnson RB 5'10" 219 Colorado State Pick Analysis: Goal line back and short yardage to spell Sproles and LT for the tough yards.
Round 5, Pick 12 (148) Brandon Hughes CB 5'10" 182 Oregon State Pick Analysis: Nickel corner at best.
Round 6, Pick 16 (189) Kevin Ellison S 6'1" 227 Southern Cal Pick Analysis: His brother plays in the NFL. Seems to be a smart player who was surrounded by amazing talent like some other USC S’s that turned out to be a bad fit in the NFL.
Round 7, Pick 15 (224) Demetrius Byrd WR 6'0" 199 LSU Pick Analysis: 3rd round talent that was in a car accident in the weeks leading up to the draft. Watch his recovery.
