Houston Texans RFA, UFA and offseason update

So far the Texans have been a low key player in the offseason frenzy known as the Free Agent market. Signees are listed below, with their EFS impact discussed:

1. WR Andre Davis: re-signed just before FA period began. He was reportedly priority #1. A Davis returned 3 KO's for TD's last year, 2 in one game. He deserved to be in ProBowl. While Andre Johnson was out with a knee injury he proved a capable replacement.

EFSlant: at best he is probably a WR5-6 on your roster. He has some appeal because of his KO return talents.

2. CB Jacques Reeves Dal: signed to fill-in for D Robinson while Robinson rehabs his major knee injury. When Robinson returns he has the talent to be the third DB. He was picked on while in Dallas and if he is the starter in Houston he will be picked on here too. He is nowhere near as good as Robinson but could be a serviceable nickel back.

EFSlant: he wont be a very good NFL corner, but because he will be picked on he could be a good DB4-5 in EFS enhanced leagues.

3. LB Kevin Bentley Sea: Bentley was a special teams demon for Seahawks, will probably be same for the Texans. Is a contender for SLB job with Texans. Still young, but upside is limited.

EFSlant: watch Training Camp to see how competition for SLB job pans out.

4. WR Harry Williams Hou: was on practice squad for 12 weeks, on Active roster for 4 weeks. Really a camp body, but due to his size has some potential as a red zone threat.

EFSlant: at this time, very little......
