Just saw that the Balt / Hou game may not be played on Monday due to the damage from the Hurricane. There is a conference call Sunday night to discuss - if you have players on these teams and are using them you can leave them in - are there contingencies in the rules to cover this? don't recall anything.

This impacts a lot of people but we cannot begin to discuss a solution until we know what the NFL will do. My guess is that they will still play Monday night, just somewhere else (in Texas).

Game pushed back to Nov 9. How will this work? Should I get Bal and Hou starters out now??

EFS needs to do nothing here. Plenty of time for everyone to change their lineups. Just like you do when there is a bye week.

Totally different situation.

Totally different situation? Sure is.

But, as hard as it may be to believe, EFS has no control over what the NFL does. ;)

It's a new bye week for Baltimore and Houston this weekend, change your lineup. Or, go ahead and play Baltimore and Houston players...your call.

My lineups will be fine. I am more concerned about the other teams in my division that are going to get easy wins when the opposing team has 2 or 3 players not playing.

Bye weeks are announced ahead of time...not less than 24 hours before the games start.

Quick update. The Ravens vs Texans game is being moved to Nov 9 due to hurricane Ike. The Ravens were originally off that week (week 9) but the Texans were off week 8 so they have moved up the Texans vs Bengals matchup from 11/9 to 10/26. The Bengals will now be off on week 8.

Please make any adjustments to your starters for this week.

Also, i'm gonna try to have an interface done so one of us Admins can quick change this kinda thing next time it happens. Now, this hurricane-resulting change is rare, but there'll be the NFL's flex Sunday schedule in a month-or-so, so i'll need to have something like this ready anyway.

Also need to make sure EFS updates the "new" changes in the NFL schedule to reflect in the EFS schedule. That way there is no confusion in the future when going to set starters.

Rockey,

It is certainly excusable, but you've still got some of this a little bit confused... allow me to simplify.

Houston's original bye week was scheduled for Week 8.
Baltimore's original bye week was scheduled for Week 10.
Houston and Baltimore will now play in Week 10 and Week 2 becomes each of their effective byes.

Cincinnati's original bye week was scheduled for Week 8.
Cincinnati was scheduled to play at Houston in Week 10.
Cincinnati will now play at Houston in Week 8 and have their bye during Week 10.

I see that you fixed the database to show Week 2 as the bye for Houston and Baltimore on the website.

HOWEVER, you still have Cincinnati showing up with a Week 8 bye.

First you should change Cincinnati's bye from Week 8 to Week 10.

Then you should make sure that the Cincinnati @ Houston game originally scheduled for Week 10 is deleted from the system.

Next, take that Cincinnati @ Houston game originally planned for Week 10 and slot it into the Week 8 schedule.

Finally, the Baltimore @ Houston game originally scheduled for Week 2 should be inserted into the Week 10 schedule.

SUMMARY OF THE FIVE CHANGES MADE:
Houston's bye switched from Week 8 to Week 2.
Baltimore's bye switched from Week 10 to Week 2.
Cincinnati's bye switched from Week 8 to Week 10.
Cincinnati @ Houston matchup originally slated for Week 10 switched to Week 8.
Baltimore @ Houston matchup originally slated for Week 2 switched to Week 10.
