I'll start off: Holy Crap!... I think some of you guys are letting the competition for a UFA get the best of you!

Just wait a few months and you'll be saying: "I paid how much for that guy???... For how many years???" :P

UFA was nothing compared to some of the crazy bids out there in RFA right now.

Out of interest, what UFA bids did you see as so outrageous?

Out of interest, what UFA bids did you see as so outrageous?

It was quite a few weeks ago.... I don't remember the specific players, but I think it was with some of the large multiple bids on offensive lineman seemed to be getting pretty high.

I was just wondering if it was a situation of getting "caught up in the moment/heat of the bidding war" or something like that?

I know theres been a few times in past years that I've bid on a guy and later, after reflecting on it, thought: "man, I hope someone else over bids me on that guy."

You're right though... UFA was nothing compared to RFA. Wow.
