Remember when we all joined this league and we all paid $200, $150 entrance fee plus $50 "deposit" which was to be held until a person left the league, motivation to keep a decent team in place in order to more easily find a buyer? Now that EFS takes care of team billing, what has become of this $50?
Yes, EFS is handling the new pay-ins and the pay-outs. But..... they consider thisL666 a "Private" league. As such,we areresponsible for finding new owners for orphans. As commish, I still believe that we need this money in place to help find future new owners if necessary. If a new owner can be found without discounting the team,I believe that should be our 1st choice, if not, I think we need to lower the 1st year orphan cost by $50.
Three original owners have left, Ollie Radakovitz, Bob Segedi, and Walt Mathis, $700 of the original 16x$50=$800 is left for this purpose, and your commish has it.

i brought this up after reading about how the commish of another of the leagues you are in up and leave taking the money with him. i trust you but one never knows what could happen -- if efs is taking the $ and handing out the prize checks, i think they should hold this $ as well. i'll speak to Stan about this.
Also, you bring up a question -- why don't new owners have to add a $50 deposit when they join for the same reason we did? Just wondering.

How much longer will the $50 be held? two leagues at 50 each = $100. Expensive for a poor guy like me.
