2008 week 3

These are what i think are week 3's key matchups:

the rat patrol @ rockford private eye

This is a battle to hang with Legend in what is currently the most competitive division this season. Rockford lost Merriman last week and seems to be short at OLB & OG. The Rat Patrol has injuries at guard too and comes in as the favorite.

sic sic sic um dogs @ marauders 666

Whoever wins this game will be in first place in the division (by themselves if Beast loses). Marauders has injuries all across the offensive line and little production at WR save Chris Chambers. Sic Um loses Ugoh this week but could have Kosier back. Sic Um is favored in what should be a tight game.

I've predicted him to dominate ever since our league was born, and now Legend finally leads the league in PPG with 470 points after 2 weeks with all the pieces coming together. I note no major elements of his lineup that should be out in week 3. Zdevil has to wonder who to start at QB, RB & receiver. Z will probably lose as he usually starts something like 1-2 before completing the rest of the season on a winning streak.

I sure picked the right matchups, as these contests were mostly pretty tight.

This came down to a 12 point game. I think the all-Pennsylvania screwed the Rat Patrol.

This one was a 9 point match that the Marauders just squeaked out. I bet the DB fest had Ron scared with Cason flying around in the backfield (at least at first). Marauders takes the lead in his division.

ZDevil put up a good just-sub-400 point score, but was no match for this year's powerhouse, the Legend, who enjoyed 30pts+ days from c.tillman, g.hayes, nesbit, f.gore and brandon marshall. It's going to be tough to catch Roy this year.
