Here’s a quick break down for the 2007 orphan situation.
59 CID’s created a total of 83 orphan teams
44 of these CID’s created just 1 orphan each
9 of these CID’s created 2 orphans each
5 of these CID’s created 3 orphans each
and 1 CID created 6 orphans, ouch!
Most of these orphans were created by us placing owners from closed leagues into open orphan’s spots. So we could actually have a lower total than this, which is encouraging. Overall, we are at a mere fraction of what we had to deal with last year, so this is a major improvement!
Moving forward, I hope we can get everyone onboard with our new renewal policy so in the future, we won’t have an “Orphan List” but a “”For Sale List” already staffed with foster owners.
