With the recent announcement that all leagues will have prizes, and since it's renewal time again, if we are going to make any changes to Black and Blue's format, now is the time to do it. It appears that the choices are these:
1) No change. Renewal cost = $75. Cash prize for league winner and free renewal for the top two places. (This is the default, where we will be if we do nothing.)
2) No format change, but bump up to higher cost level. Renewal cost = $125. Cash prizes for first two places and free renewal for top three places.
3) Change to position-specific scoring, $75 level. (If this option is still available to us.)
4) Change to position-specific scoring, $125 level. (If this option is available to us.)
5) Expand to 16 teams, position-specific scoring, $75 level.
6) Expand to 16 teams, position-specific scoring, $125 level.
We need to poll owners and notify the Powers-that-be pretty quickly (by this weekend, it appears) if we are going to change anything.
Personally, I would prefer that we remain together and continue to build the rivalries that are beginning to take shape, than to disband and all join new leagues. Since B&B is the only EFS league I'm in, the cost difference from 75 to 125 is not a factor for me, but I am interested in position-specific scoring. Based on Enemy's experience and previous recommendation, however, I'm NOT inclined toward expansion to 16 teams. So my vote would go for option 3 or 4, if management can swing it.
What say you all?
