Whats the deal? at least 4 voted no for that trade, so I would like to hear why.

Where would you like for me to start? You are requesting to give up Gus Frerotte and D'Qwell Jackson ~for~ 6 draft picks: 2009 (5th, 6th, 7th) and 2010 (1st, 2nd, 3rd), along with players JT O'Sullivan, Chris Hanson, Mike Gandy*, Rodney Harrison, Daniel Bullocks, Calvin Lowery, and David Harris*.
Gus Frerotte is on RFA and may not even have a job next year and isn't far off from JT O'Sullivan. D'Qwell Jackson is pretty much equal with David Harris. Mike Gandy is by far the next best player while Rodney Harrison will be useful next year but he is RFA as well. All of those players in the trade offer for two players are somewhat questionable...but when you throw in 6 additional draft picks (basically an entire draft) I have to say no. I challenge anyone who says different.

I voted yes because I know that Roy is not tanking his team but I could certainly see why somebody might vote no. It is a pretty lopsided trade in your favor (I give you credit for getting a VERY good deal.) A deal like this could be argued in some situations to hurt leaguewide competition but, again, in my opinion this is not the case here -- your team needs the help and Roy finds a way to win year in and year out regardless of what moves he makes.
Just my two cents worth.
Wow guys actually think I'm getting ripped off and they are not all for it?
Considering I sent out an email offering 3 of the guys I traded to anyone giving me any 7th round pick it should be fairly obvious that I just wanted to get them off my roster without a cap hit.
Yes Ferrotte is a RFA and only a rent a player for me.
But I have no starting QB and not sure if I was going to get any of mine back. O'Sullivan WAS scoring close but he has been sent to the bench. Could he end up starting again yes. But with me having no luck getting a QB (Despite numerous offers and only 1 reply back) I had to do something and get a starter. Yes, Gandy is good, but I have another Card OL and 7 other OL that score close to very close or more than him. So he was a luxury that I could afford to move.
While Harris is solid IMO he isn't in Dqwell's league. Besides the fact that he is out for at least the next month.
So IMO and what I based my offer on was that the deal was really Gandy, Harris and the draft picks for Ferrotte and D'Qwell. With the lower draft picks just added in to make up for him taking some players I wanted to dump.
Ever one knows I'm not a real big rookie guy. I have sent out a lot of emails asking about a QB and anyone could have responded. But all season with all the emails I sent out. Only 1 team responded. And I also sent specific offers to several teams and only 2 of those had the curtosy to respond. So why complain when no one else wanted the picks anyways.

I am glad you think I am getting a good trade but trade voting is not in place for anyone to be the judge of who got the best of a deal. It is in place to stop cheating. HEre is what is says in the rules:
Trade voting is in place to stop collusion, team dismantling, or anything not deemed in the best interest of the league.
Collusion Two owners get together and decide to make a trade that benefits one owner
while the other owner receives nothing of any value in return, creating a tremendous advantage to only one owner.
Trade Dismantling An owner who has decided to quit EFSports, but as a parting shot tries to make his team such a disaster, that even the best owner would need several years to fix it and make it competitive.
Best Interest An owner is intentionally trying to alter the competitive balance in the league in a negative way.
Trade Voting is not in place to prevent teams from getting stronger. Nor to frustrate owners attempts at improvements. It is not there to second-guess owner strategies, or to prevent owners from making
shrewd or stupid moves. Trade Voting is not in place to stop one-sided trades, lop sided trades, stupid
trades, or incompetent trades. Trade voting exists only to stop illegal trades or trades of evil intentions.
So unless you think we are flat out cheating, which is laughable, then you have no basis for a no vote and I dont see why you would vote no. My team stinks and I am trying to rebuild using picks. I could care less about the players except for Harris. And to vote no just because you think I am getting a good deal is jacked up.
What is going on with the all the "no" votes?
Is league full of a bunch of newbies or do you truly not understand what collusion is.
Lets keep this league competitive and challenging, not vindictive and childish.
