As was the case last year, here’s my best guess at what will happen in the final week of the regular season in the Hall of Fame League. Here are the tie breaker rules as I understand them; if two teams are tied in their division the first tie breaker is divisional record, then head to head, if three teams are tied then its divisional record and then points. (This means that I cannot win the Green Division title this year even though I'm only 1 game behind!) An out of division tie is determined by the head to head match-up. A three way tie when any of the teams is not in the same division is determined by the overall points scored tie breaker. If anyone figures out that some of my scenarios are wrong please let me know. If they are all wrong then please ignore this post!
Blue Division
Da Cowboys
- Will clinch the Blue division title with a win or tie.
Just2Buff
- Will clinch the Blue division title with a win
- Will clinch 1st round BYE with a win AND Timid Moose wins the Green Division title with 11 wins (please see below for this scenario, due to J2B head to head win over the Moose, but not TD)
Red Division
Eternal Ramnation:
- Has clinched playoff berth, Red division title and first round BYE.
- Will clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs with a win OR
- Loss AND Total Domination does not win Green division with 12 wins (please see below for this scenario, due to TD HTH win over ER)
BayDawgs
- Has clinched playoff berth. Will be 4, 5 or 6 seed.
Green Division
Timid Moose
- Has clinched playoff berth.
- Will clinch Green division title with win OR
- Loss and Total Domination loss
- Will clinch 1st round BYE with win OR
- Loss AND TD loss AND J2B loss or tie
Total Domination
- Has clinched playoff berth.
- Will clinch Green division title and 1st round BYE with win AND Timid Moose loss
- Will clinch home field advantage with win AND TM loss AND ER loss
BroncoFan
- Will clinch playoff berth with win OR
- Loss and J2B and DC don’t tie (a tie would leave BD and BF in a tie for the last playoff spot even if BD loses and BD would take due to HTH win over BF)
Foster Chinchilla, Cerebrals, Steilacoom Sentinels, Foster Owner and Cant Stop Wont Stop have been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.
