EFS will have a new header for when you're logged in. The biggest difference to you will be when you're viewing one of your teams.

Quick links will be shortened. There will be a find player text search always in the header along with a link to the main find player page.

The top header will consist of your team name, the ability to change to another one of your teams, the league name, and alerts for trades, rfa, the draft and practice squad.

Your team name will double as a link to your detailed view. When you have an invalid roster, it will be highlighted in red and hovering your mouse over the link will say "INVALID Roster".

Your league name will double as a link to your league standings page.

When there is no trade offer involving your team and no trade to vote on, the word "None" will appear under the "Trade" column. It will double as a link to the main active trades page. When there's an offer involving your team, you'll see "Offer" under that header in red. When you need to cast your vote on a trade, the word "Vote" will appear under that header in red. Both words will double as a link to the main active trades page.

When RFA isn't active or there's no claim on one of your RFA players, the word "None" will appear under the RFA column. Otherwise, you'll be notified of an RFA "Claim" or "Lock", which will double as a link to your RFA Match page.

When PS isn't active or there's no claim on one of your PS players, the word "None" will appear under the PS column. Otherwise, you'll be notified of an RFA "Claim" or "Lock", which will double as a link to your PS Bid Match page.

When your draft is on, the type of draft ("Vet" for Veteran, "Expand" for expansion, and "Rookie" for rookie draft) will appear in red under the "Draft" header and double as a link to your league draft room.

The alert message that used to appear by the Quick Links header will now appear between your team information and the Quick Links / Find Player tables.

I'm hoping this header will be more intuitive, provide more information, look better and save some space at the same time. I'm hoping to install it before RFA begins.

What is the purpose of this Find Player text search feature?

If you type a name in the text box and press Enter, nothing happens.
If you type a name in the text box and then click on Find Player, you are taken to the Find Player page, but the search results for the name you typed are not displayed... it's just the empty Find Player page.

It's a nice quick link to the Find Player page, but if you built the functionality for that search to work dynamically using the name typed in the text box as the criteria, then that part of your script is not executing.

Nice catch. I'm nearing the final days with this machine, and it's still got IE 6... didn't realize there would be such a difference in functionality, but I guess so.

I just tried with Mozilla, and the Enter key worked, but there was no action with the Tab key, and clicking on Find Player still produced the unpopulated Find page.

Regardless, it's good to know that it's just a simple browser issue, and I'm about to upgrade computers.

Thanks.

The "Find Player" link works just like the old "Find Player" link did. It's just meant to take you to the find player page.
