Seems pretty good. Will try and get in there each night for a little bit 8et or so if possible if anyone wants to just chat.
EFS will like to introduce a new 'flashier' chat system. To access the chat rooms (in a new browser), select from the navbar:
After you select the flash chat link, you will see the main chat page. If you are asked for username and/or password information, you'll need to use your message board login information.
The chat room can also be accessed from the "quick links" drop down menu, which will open the chat room within the message board site.
To enter any of the rooms on the right, use the drop down box (to the left of the "add" button):
Public and Private rooms can be created by selecting the "Add" button on the chat's main screen.
Users can create a room and call it whatever they want. If creating a private room, a password needs to be assigned and then made available to whomever you want to access the room. So after creating a private room, you can email those who you want to meet you in the room by telling them the room name and the room's password. Users can also customize the appearance of the chat screen by using the "options" button on the bottom of the main chat page.
When a user is in the chat rooms, you can click on that user's name to private message him/her within the chat room, invite to a private room, as well as perform some other functions.
Parts of the main chat screen can be resized and moved around by clicking, holding and dragging. For instance, you can drag the chat typing pane from the bottom to the top. And you can resize the chat area will messages are posted.
I would really appreciate if any users frequenting the new chat rooms can post any problems, questions and suggestions (in this forum) with the new chat system so that this new message board feature runs as smooth as possible. For instance, since there are only three default chat rooms set up right now, more can be created to have more rooms to choose from. I will probably add a few more within the next few days. Enjoy!
