Correct me if I am mistaken but the bid made today just gave Purpose Driven Team Champ Bailey for 3 more years at a salary of 1.210m/year. Happy Birthday Christmas PDT!

Bid: 1.21 * 3 years = 3.63m salary
Current: 3.57/year = 3.57m salary

You are not mistaken. However, it was by no means an "Oooops". It was a calculated move that apparetly has worked. Trust me I toiled for a couple of days on whether I should make the "bad" RFA bid or not. Buck E. Badger made the correct initial bid (props to him), squeezing out any other bids that would force PDT's hand.

However, after a "bad" bid like that, you never know what is going to happen or who it would open up the bidding to. Obviously now with BEB's new bid, it doesn't look like PDT is getting a freebie. It looks like nobody has the chance at getting Bailey at a reduced price now...
