I left you a long voice message around noon today. Maybe you got sick of listening to me drone on, so here it is in an email.
We had two very unusual bids in 3002 last night. In both cases an optimum RFA bid was raised 10% and it will now allow each owner to retain an existing player for several million dollars per year less than they are currently paying them.
In the first case an owner (Mass Destruction) raised a bid on Kevin Jones shortly before it was to lock. Jones is owned by Polar Express. The new bid will allow Polar to re-sign Jones for almost $3M/yr less than he is currently paying him.
In the next case, Polar Express raised a bid on Bulger. Mass Destruction owns Bulger. Once again, Mass can now retain Bulger for several million a year less than he is currently paying him.
These bids were placed within seconds of each other.
Here are the bids from the trans log:
RFA-Bid Accepted Polar Express (http://dynasty.efsports.com/efs/EFSFootballServlet?OP=detailedview&LID=003002&OID=05) Kevin Jones Lions RB (http://dynasty.efsports.com/efs/EFSFootballServlet?OP=findplayerlasttype&PPOS=RB&SORD=AV&STATUS=ALL#3083) RB (http://dynasty.efsports.com/efs/EFSFootballServlet?OP=findplayerlasttype&PPOS=RB&SORD=AV&STATUS=ALL#3083) 2007-02-15-01.25.22.858000

It could be possible that this happened, as a matter of fact it did. My problem with this is! It's too close together on each others rosters, the odds are well, huge that it was a coinkidink!
PE and MD have the opportunity to call me TODAY AND TODAY ONLY to explain their move, and your Caller ID better match your Customer IDs! If I get a NO Caller ID Available, don't bother. And I will hear from both or they are done.
On a side note, don't bother quoting EFS Rules, these 2 leagues run under my supervision, and only mine, no votes, no court. If it smells bad and I think this does unless I get other information, the transactions are out as well as the 2 owners.
As for the league, better line up new owners.
My home phone # for PE and MD is 972.820.6166! If you both want to stay in, I better get a call from both Today!
Sincerely,
sid
