I know its early, but would EFS consider changing the injury status of players who have already been placed on DL? There have been a couple already.
They will be considered if there is an official transaction reported that they have been placed on I.R. Just saying a guy is likely to miss the entire year isn't sufficient.

What about guys already suspended for games?
Lynch, Pace, etc
Players who are eligible to play in the preseason such as Lynch and Pace will have to wait until the season begins and the teams officially move them to a non-injury suspended list before they will be considered. They are still counting toward the roster limits for their respective NFL teams so they will also count toward rosters in EFS as well.

On August 20, 2009, the NFL officially suspended WR Plaxico Burress (pid 1748) for a time equal to the length of his upcoming stay in prison (at least all of 2009 and likely all of 2010).

Stewart Bradley is not currently eligible for EFS IR because thus far the Eagles have processed no transaction involving him despite the injury.
You're probably looking in the right place.
Suspensions do not take effect until the regular season begins.

For those wondering why their injured players might not be IR'ed yet, this is a good explanation:

The fourth-round pick will have surgery Tuesday, but he won't be placed on injured reserve until the end of the month. If the team put Brown on IR now, he would count against the team's 80-man roster, unless the team made the risky move of waiving him first.
But if they wait until the roster is pared down on Sept. 1, he doesn't have to be waived to clear the spot on the 75-man roster. So for the next few weeks, the Giants will be down a player and will have to use the backs they have.
... so the bottom line is, look for a lot of IR moves to be made Sept. 1.

During the season, EFS updates injury status after the Wed and Fri injury reports are released by the NFL. Andrews will be updated at that time.

Stacy Andrews was placed on IR on 9/15 yet he is still listed as probable. We've had the wednesday reports and I believe the friday reports. Are these going to get updated? Things seem to be running very slow this season.

Yeah, he definitely got lost in the shuffle.
FYI, Jason, guys who are on IR DON'T appear on the official team weekly injury reports, so if a guy is placed on IR, that will still need to be done manually.

Just for the record, Stacy Andrews was NOT put on IR. It was his brother, Shawn Andrews. Not sure of Shawn's EFS status but it definitely wasn't Stacy.
Just checked and Shawn is listed as OUT. So as far as I can see the Andrews brothers are listed properly.

What we'd all like to see is the injury list put up in a timely manner so that we can manage our teams. It has been promised to be up on wednesday and then friday and here we are with known injury issues and players still listed as probable or questionable that are out. What makes it worse, we get no response from management. Just a little communication would be nice and may solve most of the problems. Your correction sure helped and it was appreciated.

I of course am not management and won't speak for them but...it does appear that the NFL is doing their injury reports differently this year. I'm not sure how Canty was listed Wednesday. ESPN only reported yesterday that he is now listed as OUT. I know EFS can't keep making daily changes to the report, that is why they chose Wednesday, since that is the first day a report comes out. Then I believe they make changes again on Friday but...it all depends on where and how they get their information. We should try and be fair with them when it comes to the IR. It really seems like the NFL is doing it differently this year.
As for communication, I agree with you, somewhat. For the most part someone does respond to our concerns, maybe not as quickly as we would like, but they respond. At other sites the response might/might not be quicker but I guarantee you their responses are canned responses and not a personal response like we get.
And to be honest, if someone is that concerned about their roster that they need to move someone over to IR in order to have a valid roster and doesn't have the depth already to cover an injury, IMO that roster needs more help than simply putting someone on IR. I think the key to winning EFS is having that depth to cover bye weeks and injuries. Everyone just about can put out a strong team initially, its covering the unexpected that makes or breaks your team.

I agree with your last line, but I think you are missing the point. If you start getting significant injuries you have to restock with free agents. If you do so under the assumption that your injured players will be put on IR and they are not it leaves you in a bad situation.
Example - A. Gonzalez is out for 6-8 weeks so a team aquires a WR to replace him. EFS does not put Gonzalez on IR. What do you do? Also contributing to the problem is the fact that many owners try to bid up players so it can take a while to make a successful bid on a player.
What is the current update on any further IR moves this week?

We pay for a league governed by rules that management set forth. I expect to get what I paid for. This is a league management site. That is what we play for. The strategy.
I still think you're missing some of the point. I don't think its EFS's fault, I think its the way the NFL is reporting their injuries and how that information is passed out. I honestly don't remember the injury report changing so frequently before. Maybe it did and I'm wrong but I don't remember so many changes and so late in the week. Again, maybe I'm wrong.
In any case I still think if you have enough depth you overcome these types of situations. I for one wouldn't be trying to add anyone without already either having someone on IR or know that if this person isn't moved to IR that I will need to cut someone. 53 active players should allow you that kind of depth.
But everyone has different ideas on how a team should look. Good luck to everyone.

On Wed if the NFL reports the following we will update our statuses as such
Practiced Fully = Probable
Limited Participation = Questionable
Did Not Participate = Doubtful
Definitely Out = Out
On Friday the NFL updates the statuses of the players to the more traditional Probable, Questionable, Doubtful and Out. We will update those as such late Friday/early Saturday as the NFL posts their information.
Players placed on IR will be populated as OUT in the Wednesday report normally. If a late report comes out we will pick it up on the Friday update.
As for Anthony Gonzalez, he is listed as Doubtful so he is eligible for EFS IR this week. Tony Gonazlez TE Falcons is listed as probable and may have gotten confused with Anthony Gonzalez.
FYI: nfl.com/injuries still doesn't have posted injury updates for the Colts/Dolphins tilt so when the NFL falls behind we do are best to get things updated as quickly as we can.

Please update the injury status of Calvin Pace to 'P'. His current status of 'O' is taking him out of my line-ups as the system keeps putting him on IR everytime I take him off.
Pace is no longer on suspension nor is he injured. I've also seen this issue with Tanard Jackson, S.

the Redskins are on a BYE in wk8, hence non of their players are being reported to or appearing on NFL sponsored daily participation notices. as a result players like TE Cooley are not listed there, even tho in his case he had surgery and is out 4 weeks....
is there some way to get Cooley onto the injury list this week or do we wait until next week?

Can someone explain how Anthony Gonzalez goes from out last week to probable this week when he hasn't practiced? The Colts site lists him as not playing this week. I had him on IR and now he is taking up a roster space. This needs to be corrected before tomorrows game. CID 963, LID 25

he wasn't officially ruled out on the day you requested. Eventually the Falcons did list his as out and we updated his status accordingly.
Clinton Portis has been placed on IR yet that is not reflected on rosters this morning, he is not even listed as Q on rosters. here is a quote from Was newspaper-

Technically they are not suspended yet. They are still eligible to participate in camp and preseason games. They will not be eligible for EFS IR until week 1.

Thanks for the update, but that doesn't have any impact on the I.R. status of either player. Right now to place a player on IR the NFL team must waive the player and he must clear waivers. You may see some players get moved to IR when the NFL has to cut from 90 to 80 on 8.31
so unlikely to see much IR official activity until near NFL week 1......

I know it is being reported that they are on IR but I have not seen an official transaction yet. Given they are at 90 players, I don't know if they are concerned about replacing his roster spot at this time.

The Packers web site Injury Report lists Zombo as "out" for Monday's practice but doesn't have an official game status. They expect him to be out a few weeks but didn't want to limit his return by placing him on the IR or PUP.
As I was posting this footballguys posted "Packers | Frank Zombo ruled out for Week 1 ". The link to the story is at KFFL.

Week 1 injury reports will be out starting Wed. If a player is not on IR,PUP,NFLI or SUSP then he is not eligible for EFS IR until his injury status is reported in the weekly reports. Even Peyton Manning is considered Probable until the report is released.

Carson was listed earlier as IR eligible, but has reverted back to not and is now listed as a Free Agent.
Is this going to change back, if not, what happened to make it change back?

Carson Palmer was inadvertently left off our stat service IR/PUP file. I have reached out to them to include him in our next update. I have marked him as Out for the time being. He should continue to stay listed as Out in the meantime.

in efs he is still not updated.
All teams have not reported yet. We process our first injury report on Wednesday evenings as soon as it is available to us from our stats service.

Romeus certainly has a hard time keeping that 'O' next to his name....its missing again...i presume that means the stat service isnt recognizing or recording him as OUT?

Come on guys, this should never happen. Its not as simple as "we'll correct it tomorrow." When FA bids are awarded in 24 hours, this puts the owners of players you happen to screw up at a tremendous disadvantage.

I just picked up Jason Fox and while he's out for the game and didn't practice all week, he's showing as probable for his current status. Is this a miss or are free agents not tagged?

After posting this I double checked and he was DNP on Wednesday and limited the rest of the week, but still shows as out. He should at lease be questionable and quite probably out.

Lee Evans of Baltimore has been ruled out this week but is listed as probable. I need to put him on IR to have a valid roster. Please fix this before game time.
