Incorrect UFA Bid

I recently bid on UFA Ryan Fitzpatrick at $.5 for 3 years. I was awarded the player, but at an incorrect amount of $3 million for 3 years. I am 100% positive I set the bid at $.5 mm for 3 years. Please correct this matter. Thank you.

While I doubt that you are correct and the bid magically jumped to $3,I can't even look into it for you if you don't give me some more info.

We looked at the journal record, you bid $3 x 3 years.

Just to fill in for what might be a blank for some. DB2, our database system provided by IBM has a feature that many do not run, we do, called Journaling. What this feature does is record every database change in the entire system. If a program fails we are able to trace it back thru the journals, this is what Tom is refering to.

Since it is supported by IBM and has been verified by the Department of Defense with their aproval as a secure database, I feel confident that the data is correct.

You stated that you were 100% sure you were correct, and I beleive you think that, the hard data in the journals does not support that, and unless DOD or IBM decide they have a bug. I don't believe it to be acurate. We don't want you to get screwed, nor do we want the system to be screwed and journals provide the best evidence we can obtain as to what really happened.

I am sorry you fell that you are correct, but we cannot, in good faith, change it.
