RFA compensation

Hi,

I put in an RFA bid for Jon Kitna which states that I would have to give a 2nd round pick which I have. When I looked at the latest draft list it has me giving a 1st round pick for him. He's not a franchise player, can you tell me why I am giving a 1st for him?

The first bid used your 2.5. The second bid used your 1.5 since your 2.5 was already reserved.

So does this mean you cannot raise your bid? So are you saying that I will lose my 1st rnd pick for Jon Kitna? It seams that I should be able to raise my bid without raising the compensation, is this correct?

each bid looks for the lowest available qualifying pick. for your first bid, the lowest available qualifying was your 2nd rounder. for your second bid, your 2nd rounder was already allocated, so your first rounder was the lowest available qualifying. if you bid again, your 2nd rounder will be used.
