I acquired Ben Graham(3172) for my PS at .350 1 yr. I believe
the money was taken out of my salary remaining instead of being applied to my PS.
Can someone look into this for me or tell me a way I can check for myself?
He was awarded on 2006-12-06-00.26.17.507000
Team 08 Boston Breakers
Lg. 17
Thanks
Mike
The 100M salary CAP applies to all players on your roster, including PS players.
All salary comes from the same place.
The differences between PS and active are the following:
PS players don't count the contract YEARS against the cap but they due count the full salary while on the roster.
When Cut PS players salary only counts 25% in the current year and nothing in future years where as active players count 50 % prorated to how many weeks left in the current year plus 40 % in every contract year after that .

to modify legend's last statement, after the current year, a cut player's salary counts 40% against next year, 30% the year after, 20% the year after that & 10% in the "5th" year, if a player's contract is that long. (for example, a player with a 3yr contract cut would count 40% next year & 30% the year after.)

Ok so when you sign someone, be it PS or Active, that money is accounted for in the salary remaining correct? I always thought PS players salaries werent applied until they were placed on the active roster, but I was aware of how the contract years worked.
Thanks

Any Player on your PS has their salary counted into your total salary, but the contract years are not until they are promoted. So yes, they do count against you if they are on your PS.
