HELP! Practice squad

I'm new today, and was trying to get to set my roster but it tells me i have 2 many on my practice squad...but I can't find out how to get to it and I don't see anything in the rules that talks about it!! Anybody can help me?

Under both the simple view and detailed view players who are on your practice squad are shaded blue. You can only keep 8 players on your practice squad at one particular time. You will either have to promote someone from your active roster or release them. Keep in mind if you release them you will incur a salary cap penalty. When you promote them you will need to have at least that number of contract years remaining in your balance or you will be invalid for cap reasons. You ought to check out the rules thoroughly before making any moves.

That's the basic explanation. Each owner has their own reasons for keeping/not keeping players on the PS.
