Tanking

Just wanted to help those of us who try to play within the rules.

In a year when one of the most hyped running backs in history is likely to declare for the NFL draft, tanking is legal. Well maybe not completly legal but allowed. The rules say it's grounds for removal from the league, but that is not enforced. It's not even acknowlegded when it's brought to the attention of EFS. No matter how obvious the tanking is.


In my opinion it is cheating at the highest level, but if it's going to be allowed then the field needs to be leveled somehow.

Why does it have to be levelled? For what? Because everybody in EFS is going to be dying over Reggie Bush? With that O-line in Houston? Nope, I don't see it. If a team (either EFS or NFL) wants to tank for that, let them.

Tanking is cheating.

It's unfair to the guys playing by the rules. In the EFS rules it states tanking is illegal and owner will be booted. It's just not enforced. It's unfair to guys who are trying to make the playoffs and someone gets a easy win over a tanking team.

This is dynasty so just because the OL sucks in Houston now doesn't mean it will in a few years. When LT came into the league SD had one of the worst OL in football. I bet you sure wouln't mind having him now. One solidOL man and a good OL coach can upgrade a OL alot. Houston was willing to pay last year for Walter Jones or Pace but both reupped. They were even willing to give the draft picks needed to get them even though Pace was franchised. So they could go after a good OL or 2 again. With a new coach and Bush (if that's the case) they could improve.

But all that aside, tanking is cheating , it's against the rules and should not be allowed. But EFS chooses to look the other way.

Don't worry about it...let the guy tank and grab Bush. Grab White or Williams. THey will both be better pros anyway. Don't believe the hype on Bush....in the NFL, everyone will be as fast as him.
