Pigskin Sharks Div 2 Team 5
Key Off Season transactions
Bidding on RFA QB Farve for 1 yr 1.5m was critical and acquiring RB T Henry on RFA was important due to how productive RB S Alexander will be entering his eighth season and a bone in his foot not fully healed. T Henry did cost Pigskin just short of 6 million for 5 yrs so anything short of 1300 yds and 10+ td for Denv this year would be disappointing. Trading for LB D Williams of Atl was a steal and claiming LB Scott Shanle on UFA from Saints adds a starter. Spending 3.3m at 5 yrs for DE B McCray of Jacksonville was too much as he will share time with DE R Hayward. I expect about 7 sacks from McCray. The loss of CB Pacman Jones for the year hurts.
2007 Draft
Having traded away or used high picks (1,2,3) on RFA acquisitions left very few options but if he didn’t get QB Farve and RB T Henry, the playoffs for 07 would be difficult. John Beck QB Mia could get a chance in 2008.
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB - Farve and no other starters to use, all are backups. Farve’s last year.
RB - Has 3 to use based on matchups, T Henry, Addai, S Alexander. L White of Tenn needs to come to camp in shape and win job over rookie C Henry. Chris Brown could end up in New England. If S Alexander is not as productive, he doesn’t need to use him.
WR - T Glenn Dall , K Curtis Phil, D Jackson SF and Alge Crumpler Atl. Big issues are the health of D Jackson and can T Glenn get another healthy yr. No depth to count on.
OL - A Colt, Saint and Patriot, (Glenn, Nesbit, & Mankins), otherwise very little in the way of consistent scoring teams. Chief lineman not as valuable as before
DL - Bert Berry could fill in at OLB for Arz in 3-4 def, may be reassigned to LB by EFS in Sept. Patrick Kerney in nice situation at Sea if DE Fisher and DT Tubbs and Bernard along with Darby can penetrate. T Pryce of Balt had big year in 06, can he repeat it? Mathis consistent for Indy and McCray of Jacksonville as backup to other DL. McCray used in situations this yr. Castillo best of rest on bench
LB - K Bullock Tenn, D Williams Atl, Bruschi of NE and Crowell of Buff. Very little productive depth other then Shanle of Saints and Cain of SF. Bruschi’s last yr.
DB - Good production at CB with both Eagle DB to go with Madieu Williams of Cinn and J Phillips of TB. Pacman out for the yr hurts. S Spencer of SF in battle for start job with W Harris.
Kicker - Akers of Phil solid
Summary:
This team looks to be a 9-7 team but lack of reliable depth at WR and LB and OL may make it hard to exceed that. Plays in division with Wrecking Crew and Road Rage 62 which could net a 2-4 record. Outside chance at playoffs if depth is not required. Must still cut 7 players to get down to legal roster. Has 7 million left in cap but 49 yrs in contract, extremely high with 42 1 yr contracts.

Wrecking Crew Div 2 Team #6
Key Off Season transactions
4 trades were pulled off, the biggest in trading M Vick and A Carter for OL Koppen and a high #1 pick for 2007, which turned into QB Brady Quinn. Also dealing a #2 this year and #2 & #3 next yr for J Lewis RB of Clev. Also trading his 1,2 & 4 rd draft picks in 07 for the rights to draft A Spencer OLB Dall. If Vick is suspended for a # of games this yr and or plays as inconsistent as years past, its one less headache for Wrecking Crew. And with young starters in 49er QB A. Smith , Buff Losman, QB of Clev. Brady Quinn, and M Schaub QB of Texans, he has many options, none a clear cut #1 right now. RB J Lewis of Clev did run better down the stretch last year and has a better OL as Wrecking Crew needed another back badly. Giving up 3 high to mid level picks to get Lewis is more than anyone else would have given to get Lewis at this stage of his career. The Crew team also got WR R Brown of Phil and WR L Fitzgerald of Ariz in deals.
UFA pickups were OL Foster of Det and OL Pears of Denv.
2007 Draft
Having traded away 6 draft picks for 2 # 1 picks, which were used to get QB B Quinn & A Spencer LB for Dall, he is projecting both B Quinn and LB Spencer to start this year and produce, then become key components over the next several years. Getting S Rice WR of Minn and OL Ugoh of Indy in the second and 5th rds, both of which will start eventually this yr, was also wise moves.
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – Here the team can trade off between Schaub and A Smith based on matchups. until Quinn starts and gets a year in the league. Without M Vick, big weeks from his other QB’s could be limited in early to mid part of season.
RB – Uses B Westbrook and either E James or J Lewis based on match ups. Its critical Westbrook remains healthy, especially his foot as both James and Lewis have carried the ball extensively over the last 7 years.
WR – 10 WR but 3 of which will used as often as possible, L Fitzgerald, Colston of Saints, and Driver of GB with Phil Reggie Brown the swingman. Cotchery of Jets provides good depth. J Porter and M Clayton of TB and M Jenkins Atl are in the crossroads for their teams this year.
OL - 2 veteran NE OL, a potential Colt OL in Ugoh, Barron of Rams, and Olivea of SD. Behind them are Foster, Pears, M Smith of Pitt, K Harris and Jennings of SF, & McClure of Atl.
DL – The weakest area on this team with question marks on E James of Minn, Kabeer of GB (situation role now) S Rice of TB and what he has left, and the huge disappoint in Udeze of Minn. He goes with DE B Fisher Sea, Suggs of Balt (watch possible pos. change to LB by EFS), & the recently traded for Vanden Bosch of Tenn. Can Fisher and Vanden Bosch approach 2005 levels? Don’t feel good about this unit.
LB – L Hill Sea, V Hobson Jets, J Petersen Sea, and C June of NO are his starters. Saint LB Fujita as depth. Then rookies Spencer of Dall and S Bradley of Phil with 2nd yr DL NYG Kiwanuka, who may be moved to LB this yr. Depth is shallow until Spencer Dall can prove himself week in and week out.
DB – Two of the best in A Wilson of Arz and S Jones of Clev. Then Hamlin on Dall, Chavous of rams and M Lewis of SF. Rookie Jason Allen Mia will start by Oct. Not much depth but DB are available if needed in a tight spot
Kicker – Excellent with Kaeding of SD
Summary:
Much depends on the sorting out of the QB pos. and how much A Smith SF can step up this year and if Schaub of Tex, with 2 starting assignments in his career fare with the pounding he will get in Texas. Also more productivity from the #2 RB pos is important. Outstanding WR. OL would get better if Pears of Den and Ugoh of Indy starts. The front seven on Def with a weak DL and thin LB crew, will be as important to how far this team goes this yr.
Team can be 10-6 but if QB, 2nd RB, and Def line is lacking, an 8-8 record is not out of the question. Plays in division with Pigskin Sharks and Road Rage 62 which could net a 3-3 record. Competitive for playoffs. Has 13 million left in cap and 40 yrs in contract..

Road Rage 62 Div 2 Team 8
Key Off Season transactions
2 major trades occurred. The 1st one had Rage sending RB L Johnson, J Cutler, and 3 2007 2nd rd picks to get QB P Manning, RB Rhodes, and Sea RB Morris plus a 2008 2nd rd pick. Already having QB C Palmer on his team at the time of this trade, im not clear why he thought P Manning was a measurable upgrade to a younger C Palmer who also has the same top weapons, excellent OL and consistent production as P Manning. But the loss of L Johnson was significant even with R Bush and R Johnson on his team.
The 2nd trade then shipped C Palmer for WR M Harrison and RB A Green to another team. WR M Harrison is an important upgrade to what was a weak WR corp. RB Ahmad Green will be used on the Rage team as the #3 back coming off the bench in byes and any injuries to the starters. QB P Rivers of SD now backs up P Manning. Rage also gave up in the first deal three 2nd rd draft picks in 07 to get QB Manning, RB A Green, and RB of Sea M Morris.
In RFA and UFA, he picked up LB M Greenwood and W Harris CB of SF and K A Vinatieri
2007 Draft
Had only a 6th and 7th rd pick this year having traded away or used high picks (1-5) on other acquisitions.
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – P Manning and Rivers. Could use a third option for depth but otherwise set.
RB - Has R Bush and R Johnson as starters. Will Bush be more effective between the tackles or will he get most of his yards as a option in passing game? The # 3 back is A Green of Texans, who has had injury issues over the last number of years except last year with GB. Backups include M Morris and Rhodes of Raiders.
WR – M Harrison Holt, and Winslow of Browns as starters. Top backups are a real problem with S Parker, E Kennison, Nate Washington. TE B Watson of NE was big disappointment last year and with Moss and Stallworth, and Welker on NE, not enough footballs to go around. Not sure why K Johnson and D Givens are still on roster. Will K Winslow avoid missing time due to previously operated knee a number of times.
OL – 2 SD OL in Goff and Hardwick, Nalen of Denv on his last year, Ohara of NYG, and Koiser of Dall. Very little behind them as Womack not dependable due to hurt all the time and battling Gray for OG slot in Sea.
DL – M Anderson and Ogunleye of Bears and Will Smith of Saints is solid. What will Strahan have left? Denv situational DE Dumervil is top backup. Cupboard bare behind them.
LB – One of top two LB corp in starters and depth in league 62. K Morrison Oak, B Scott of Balt, D Johnson KC, and K Wimbley of Clev with J Porter mia, D Smith of Jacksonville, and D Edwards KC, Greenwood Tex , and C Haggans of Pitt.
DB – E Reed of Balt , R Williams of Dall, Dunta Robinson of Tex, and either W Harris SF, Pool of Clev, or A Henry of Dall as backups. A formable group that is a strength.
Kicker – A Vinatieri Colts and Hanson Det, J brown of Sea excellent
Summary:
One of top 3-4 teams in league. Needs depth at WR badly. OL depth shallow.
Has both firepower and is depth in DL, LB, DB. Excellent RB starters, QB, and Kicker
11-5 and division winner.

Rams Revenge Div 2 Team 7
Key Off Season transactions
About 7 trades occurred. The biggest ones were givng up M Drew jones RB & 2nd
rd next yr for 2 #1 drafts picks. He then brings in W Jones OT & Pisa Tinoisamoa (http://dynasty.efsports.com/efs/EFSFootballServlet?OP=player&PID=7746)LB and a and a 2nd and 3rd in 07 for a 1st rd pick in 07 and a 7th rd in 07 as well as a
2 # 3 next year. Next he gets J Abraham DE for a #3 in 07. Gets L Coles and C Ingram LB and 2nd rd in 08 for #1 in 07. And gets a #1 and #2 in 07 and W Dunn RB for TE H Miller, #1 in 07 and 2 2008 picks a 5th and 6th.
In RFA and UFA, he picked DE Hayward of Jack, QB J Delhomme and WR R curry Oak. Delhomme was a very high and risky bid
2007 Draft
He drafted J Beeson LB Car, Harris Jets LB, and J Anderson De Atl, WR D Jarrett and QB T Edwards.
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – Delhomme is in the cross hairs, deliver early or make way for the CARR. T Green will end up in Mia, one day. (could be July) and then is Culpepper released and his huge salary? T Green wont like his OL in Mia. He has Cleo Lemon to backup Green. T Edwards a rookie
RB – Best back here is M Barber Dall as he will get 60% of carries and 10-12 TD. Dunn needs to cut down on carries as his 2nd half seasons over the last 3 tail off. This will be his last yr in Atl. Droughns of Jets to get about 33% of carries with T Jones getting the bulk and L Washington the change up back. M Bell of Denv will spell Henry periodically
WR – Picking up L Coles was a start. Furrey of Det to be #3 WR now. Curry of Oak to start beside J Porter. Can Curry remain healthy 2yrs in a row? Toomer and Muhammed of Bears will be the backups on Rams Revenge. D Clark TE Colts one of three TE Indy uses. T Williamson Minn is time is now or he will be looking for another team. Rookie Jarrett will start by 2nd half of 07. Where did Stokely go? And TE Pope of Ariz would be ideal as a FG swatter on front of goal posts.
OL – Trade for W Jones of Sea helps, Wells of Arz, Columbo of Dall, Mc Neill SD, and Garza Bears round out strong starters. Colledge GB, and two Mia OL as backups. Terrel and Leckey fill ins unless they ever get a chance to start
DL – Which J Abraham will show up and for how many games? He is good for either 9 sacks or 4. Heyward to rotate in Jacksonville with Mc Cray if he is fully back from a torn Achilles. Needs both M Williams Tex and J Anderson to make a impact this year. Keisel will be backup to starters on this team. After that, its sad.
LB – Give credit here as he went out and got Rams Tinoisamoa and drafted 3 highly ranked LB in rookie draft, David Harris Jets, Posluszny of Buff, and Beeson of Car. Has a top notch LB already in Hawk GB and Brooks of Cinn will start in middle with Hartwell behind him Sirmon, Ingram of Jacksonville, and Jordan Beck Atl utility players
DB – Ronde Barber, Donte Whitner Buff, Atogwe Rams, and McGee buff and Jammer SD core tot his group. Rolle of Ariz on bubble, Clark Pitt, Scheigert Oak, and D Smith Minn will provide depth.
Kicker – Reed Pitt should bounce back from last yr.
Mare NO has chance to put up big #
Summary:
QB is at its last stand. RB features 1st half impact player in Dunn and R Droughns for the short yardage, spell T Jones, and get several short TD runs. M Bell Denv to give T Henry breathers. WR wont keep other EFS owners up Sat night. OL Very good. DL will go as far a M Williams, J Anderson and J Abraham. The 3 rookie LB will have big impact behind Hawk A Brooks Cinn and Tinoisammoa Rams. This unit will be very formidable soon. DB are steady and has depth. Kicker Mare of Saints has nice opportunity to get points. Team will win 4 games.

Not Just Last Div 3 Team 9
Key Off Season transactions
The first trade sent his overall #1 draft pick in 07 for the 2nd and 10th first rd picks.
He then took Calvin Johnson WR Det with that 2nd choice. He then traded his 2nd 1st rd pick, his 3rd rd pick and Mike Williams and DRe Bly to get Chad Johnson Wr Cinn.
In RFA and UFA, he gave up a 1st rd comp pick to get D Brees for a mere .350k for 4 yrs and bid on RB L Betts, who should get half the carries for Wash and who does not have a history of shoulder injuries.
2007 Draft
He drafted LB of Arz buster Davis who will be part of a 3-4 def soon. Also a late pick in L Booker Mia who will be a 3rd down option with his receiving skills.
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – Signing D Brees as a RFA for so cheap was a great start to rebuilding this former team. Leftwich either delivers for Jacksonville or he will be replaced. C Simms is also at crossroads for
TB this year. Andrew Walter battles McCown of Raiders for 1st half of season, then Russell will brought in.
RB – Betts provides steady performance for Washington, B Jacobs will be given shot to carry the load for NYG with Droughns of NYG. Dillon may end up on team as short yardage option but is currently retired. A Petersen of Chi Bears will see opps if Benson cant carry load.
WR – Chad Johnson Cinn, C Johnson Det, and a motivated Randy Moss now on NE, TE Gates with backups Welker and Stallworth of NE gives this team one of the best WR corp. He does have all 3 Patriot wr so hell choose between Moss or Stallworth until Calvin Johnson settles in with Det.
OL – Pace of Rams,Weiner of atl, J Brown of saints, Snee of giants, and S Andrews of Phil are formidable. Backups are suspect except for C. Spencer of Sea.
DL – Even though J Taylor and Sapp are long beyond their 30th birthdays, they continue to produce at high levels. Tommy Harris can do it all at DT for Bears. I expect spears DE Dallas to be used more aggressively by coach Wade. Spicer Jacksonville, Stroud Jacksonville, and Cody of Balt are backups.
LB – Brackett of colts , Foote of Pitt, Washington of Redskins, and Spikes of Eagles likely starters. Backups are Ayodele, B Davis, and C Miller provide depth
DB – McCallister, C Hope, C Bailey Denv, and Woodsen of GB are starters. No depth is big cause for concern.
Kicker – Scobee of Jaguars and Seabass of the Raiders.
Summary:
The team has gone from listless and poorly managed to a playoff contender and a 9-7 record. This is a much better team than last yrs team who also was 9-7. Biggest weakness is no depth at DB, RB is undermanned, and LB is minus playmakers and depth. DL has lots of age but may get one more yr.

Raider Nation Div 3 Team 12
Key Off Season transactions
9 trades were engineered which included trading some of his top talented players. Names like Payton Manning, Steven Jackson, Chad Johnson, John Abraham, Warrick Dunn, Mike Petersen, OL Walter Jones, RB Rhodes, LB Tinoisamoa, and Larry Fitzgerald. In return he acquired the following players; RB Larry Johnson, J Cutler, Portis, Jeff Saturday, Drew Bly, & Braylon Edwards. There were also many draft picks for 2007 and 2008 exchanged in most of the 9 trades.
In RFA and UFA, he acquired Jeff Garcia, OL Pashos, & Leonard David OL Dall.
2007 Draft
He drafted 15 rookies in 2007 as a result his numerous trades such as QB J Russell, D Bowe WR KC, J Moss DE, Woodley LB, Meachem WR saints, QB Stanton Det, WR A Gonzalez colts, Harrell DL GB, Quincy Black TB LB, A Ross CB, Wolfe RB Chi, Sears OL TB, Z miller TE Oak, Kahil Carolina OL, and DB Piscitelli TB. He also parted ways with 6 rookie draft picks in 07m mostly 2nd and 3rd rd picks.
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – His top starter is 2nd yr J Cutler Denv who will have a long, productive and winning career. Back for now is S Mc Nair Balt until J Russell of Oak gets command of the offense. Stanton of Det will be Kitna’s understudy this year and perhaps next year. Garcia battles Simms in TB
RB – Larry Johnson KC and Portis of Redskins. Larry will get his 2000 total yds and 15 tds. The big question is Portis and how much he shares the load with Betts and if his shoulder can hold up all year. No depth other than D Foster Car who needs to be limited in his carries due to a steady stream of injuries and the other RB in Car, 2nd yr back D Williams. At one time, this team had both L Johnson and Steve Jacskon in same backfield.
WR – Starters consist of H Ward Pitt, B Edwards clev, and either rookie Meachem saints, Gonzalez Colts, or Bowe KC. TE McMichael of Rams, Te H Miller Pitt, and Z Miller TE Raiders are backups.
OL – NE, Colts, Cowboys, Chargers, Phil are starters which is outstanding with backups from the jets, Balt, Redskins, and Packers.
DL – Okefor Ariz , who will play some OLB in 3-4, Shawn Rogers DT Det, and either DE Ellis of Jets or rookie J Moss of Denv. Little depth, lack of playmakers, and giving away many points vs EFS opponents at this position
LB – A Davis Clev, A Pierce NYG, Mike Petersen Jacksonville if he is all the way back, and Hartwell Cinn or Marshall of Wash, who is battling R McIntosh for OLB on Wash. This unit badly needs Hartwell, M Petersen, and Marshall Wash to stay healthy and produce.
DB – Top S K Rhodes Jets, Samuel NE (may be traded) Al Harris GB, and Bly Denv or Asomugha Raiders are excellent with depth of Griffin Minn, R Hill Mia, and Milloy.
Kicker – R Lindell. Team did not match A Vinetari of Colts in RFA.
Summary:
Seems like new owner of this team wanted to rebuild with numerous draft choices, trade for the players he wanted, and still remain a contender this yr. Keys will be RB Denv Portis, how consistent Cutler of Denv is, how quickly the rookies at WR can make an impact, and how healthy and productive his LB are. This team is built for future and will not make playoff this year. Too thin at LB, DL, WR, and a Portis injury from big problems. I see 7-9 record in best case, Fall to 6-10.

DropOuts Div 3 Team 10
Key Off Season transactions
2 major deals were done. He acquired C Palmer for M Harrison and RB A Green Texans and Got R Brown RB Mia & OL J Scott Indy, retired QB J Plummer, and TE B Troupe for RB Norwood Atl and V Davis TE SF, and 3 mid level 2007 and 2008 picks.
In RFA and UFA, he acquired OL Cinn Whitworth on RFA, B Jones WR Tenn, R Mathis DB, and J David Saints
2007 Draft
1st rd selection P Willis LB SF, OL Levi Brown Arz in 4th rd, & James Marten OL Dall in 7th rd. He traded 5th rd pick E Weddle DB SD. I thought each pick will net value and production.
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – Having V Young Tenn already wasn’t enough considering Tenn lack of playmakers. Now he has C Palmer Cinn which was a major improvement. Culpepper will most likely be released and sign as a backup most likely in Jacksonville. With QB B Leftwich on his last year in Jacksonville, there could be a opening in 2008. Culpepper will use this year to learn system and totally become healthy for 2008. Jack Plummer retired.
RB – R Brown Mia will improve this team in place of Ahmad Green or Norwood Atl, whom were traded away. Tatum Bell will get his 10-12 carries a game for Det until Kevin Jones returns early in the season. TJ Duckett of Det will also get carries, especially near goal line. Davenport and Buckhalter wont be enough as depth.
WR – Its T Owens Dall, B Jones Tenn, and TE T Gonzalez KC. TE B Troupe and Saint D Henderson are backups. No depth here at all. Henderson has Meachem and T Copper in front of him in NO.
OL – Cinn, Indy, Ariz, and 1 KC lineman along with Denv are his starters. Depth is 2 Wash, KC, and TB players.
DL – A Smith Pitt, J Henderson DT Jacksonville and Kelsay buff, Traylor is backup. Weakest unit in league.
LB – Ware Dall, Witherspoon Rams, Gold Denv, and Farrior Pitt are starters.Vrable NE and Carpenter Dall L Johnson Cinn are backups. Strong set of starters and very little depth.
DB – Mathis, S Taylor Wash, Clements SF and Jason David Saints with Demps, T Hill rams, and Gamble Car, and N Ferguson Det as quality backups, some of which can be used to start without much difference.
Kicker – Tynes NYG (traded/released from KC) and Dawson of Clev.
Summary:
Improved at QB, gained workhorse RB but less overall depth now, WR is Owens and routine Sunday prayers. OL is solid in starters but lacking productive depth. DL not counted on to contribute much. Starting LB excellent but little depth. DB strong overall. I see a 5-11 or 6-10 record.

Paytons Pride Div 3 Team 11
Key Off Season transactions
Only 1 trade which was moving his 2nd overall rd pick and 10th pick in 1st rd for the top slot in draft. He then chose A Petersen RB Minn with that pick.
In RFA and UFA, he acquired Wr T Copper Saints, WR P Crayton Dall, OL Gurode Dall, Al Johnson OL Ariz, Romberg OL Rams, McCollum Rams, R Fowler Tenn LB, Trotter LB Phil,
E Wilhelm LB SD, R Mcintosh LB Wash, James Harrison Pitt OLB, Juqua Thomas DE Phil, M Roth DE Mia, C Jenkins DE GB, Trufant DB Sea, Y Bell DB Mia, D Grant Sea, & J Page KC.
2007 Draft
Other than A Petersen RB minn, he took Moses DE Oak and McBride DE KC in rds 5 and 6.
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – Bulger Rams clearly among top 4 QB in game now with D Bennett and TE R McMichael. Kitna in Det has C Johnson now and a better OL. M Leinart Arz ready to take it up another level with better OL and coaching. T Romo Dall will forget about fumbled hold in last yrs playoffs and improve his judgment and consistency.
RB – Tomlinsen SD and W Parker Pitt which combined for 3300 rushing yards and 900 receiving yds plus 47 total TD. Neither will duplicate those staggering numbers this year but still be highly ranked by yrs end. Chestor Taylor will share carries with Minn rookie A Petersen, which this team has both RB. In 2008, C Taylor will be ask to take big pay cut or traded to allow A Petersen to assume full load if shoulder permits, then watch out. Kevin Jones Det will be ready for opening game but will held out of training camp to allow him more time to recover. He will not have the load he did last year with T Bell and TJ Duckett and coming off foot surgery. A Thomas Buff will share carries with rookie Lynch. M Turner SD will spell Tomlinsen until next year when he is UFA. Unit wont have same # of fulltime backs as last year.
WR – Houshmandzadeh Cinn, R Wayne Colts and Evans Buff with M Clayton Balt to back up along with I Bruce Rams, D Bennett rams, T Copper saints and Crayton Dall will provide depth.
OL – Saint, Ram, Dall, Ariz, 2 Cinn (if Ghiaciuc wins C job) as starters with Jacksonville, Sea, Cinn and Det as depth.
DL – J Allen KC, Little Rams, T Cole Eagles with C Grant saints, R Geathers Cinn, M Roth Mia, C Jenkins GB, J Thomas Phil, and rookies McBride KC and Moses Oak. All young or in prime except L little. Deep on bench and strong starters. J Allen will miss first 4 games of season.
LB – Merriman and Phillps SD, L Fletcher Wash, and Urlacher Chi are menacing 4 with abundance of depth in G Hayes Ariz, E J Henderson Minn & M Wilhelm ILB SD. Battle positions involve Tenn Fowler vs Tuloch, J Harrison Pitt vs Timmons, Wash R Mcintosh vs Marshall. Trotter Phil on run downs only and C Draft Rams backs up all 3 LB positions.
DB – Bob Sanders colts, Winfield minn, Trufant CB Sea, Coleman Jets, Y Bell mia, Bethea colts, and J Page KC. Key here is a healthy Sanders which is why Bethea is valuable.
Kicker – Rackers Arz and S Gostkowski NE.
Summary:
Most talent and deepest of teams. No money in salary cap left. Balance of youth, prime years, and wily vets. No weakness. Explosive at QB, RB, DL, & LB. Strong at WR, OL. Steady at DB and Kickers. Will not win 14 games again but more like 11 as league is more competitive and teams like Victory is Mine, Just Not Last, and Bryce Boys improved. Teams that continue to be strong are Brookies, Road Rage 62, and behind them are Wrecking Crew and Pigskin Sharks.

Gridiron Guru Div 1 Team 2
Key Off Season transactions
3 trades were made. He traded for QB Ben Roethlisberger (http://dynasty.efsports.com/efs/EFSFootballServlet?OP=player&PID=3066)and LB Ernie Sims for LB M Lawson, LB T Howard and QB Jason Campbell. He also acquired S Cooper LB SD and gave up N Harris LB KC and R Seymour DE. He gave away D Williams Atl LB for a 5th rd pick in 2008. I don’t know why.
In RFA and UFA, he outbid all others for WR B Marshall Dev and V Jackson SD. Acquired N Vasher DB Chi, R Harper DB saints, and Rob Sims OL Sea. It cost him almost 7 million and 10 yrs to get WR B Marshall and V Jackson SD.
2007 Draft 1st Rd M Lynch Rb Buff, G Admas DE TB in 2nd rd, 2nd rd pick RB Brandon Jackson GB, Ted Ginn WR Mia in 3rd rd, TE G Olsen Bears in 4th Rd V Abiamiri Phil DE in 7th rd.
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – T Brady, Huard KC, Ben Roelisberger Pitt.
RB – Big key is C Benson Bears to go with reliable Thomas Jones Jets. J Jones Dall is in his final year with Dall as a platoon to Barber. Lynch of Buff appears to be the complete back and B Jackson GB will have his opportunities.
WR – Key is C Chambers Mia and the further development of V Jackson and B Marshall denv. Mason as depth of Balt , Horn of Atl, and Baskett Phil
OL – Phil, Cinn, 2 NYG, 2 Tenn, 2Jets and Den if Holland wins OG job
DL – Schobel Buff, Alex Brown Bears (seeking trade from bears), G Adams TB or the underperformer D Howard Phil. Rookie C Johnson Carolina DE and Tapp DE Sea, R Edwards Minn, and DE of the rams Victor Adeyanju (http://dynasty.efsports.com/cgi-bin/WebConnect?*DTTwdf=FFXOWPL/FFXOWPLI&ACTION=S&*DTTpage=owpl.htm&PID=8379)
LB – Z Thomas Mia, B Moore SF, Sims Det, S Cooper SD. Backups are B James Dall, Derek Smith SF, B Simmons Saints, and Freddie Keiaho Colts
DB – Vasher, Marhsall Car, Dawkins Phil, and R Harper Saints. Manning of Bears and Pollard of Chiefs, rookies Rouse GB and Hughes CB colts
Kicker – Nugent jets and Jeff Wilkens rams.
Summary: I see a 7-9 team if he can win 3 of the 9 divisional games, which is a strong division. This team is balanced with good young talent at RB, LB, WR and DB. Team will go as far as RB Benson, Lynch Buff, WR V Jackson and B Marshall and the rebound of Chambers will take them.

Bryce Boys Div 1 Team 4
Key Off Season transactions
2 trades were made. One is acquiring J Lewis RB clev for 3rd rd pick in 07 and a 2nd and 3rd rd pick in 2008. Seems like more than Lewis is worth this stage of his career. The other was trading DB M Griffin Tenn for a 3rd rd pick in 08
In RFA and UFA, he outbid others for QB David Carr Car, DJ Hackett Wr Sea, and Galloway WR TB, all improvements at WR position. Also claimed J Evans OG saints, and Dylan Gandy OG colts. Gandy will battle Lilja and possibly rookie T Ugoh for starting job. J Evans OG was worth the money too. E Barton LB jets could be a cap casualty do to rookie ILB David Harris. Also picked up Kevin Kaesviharn (http://dynasty.efsports.com/cgi-bin/WebConnect?*DTTwdf=FFXOWPL/FFXOWPLI&ACTION=S&*DTTpage=owpl.htm&PID=7513)Saints.
2007 Draft 1st Rd L Landry DB Wash, Adam Carriker DT rams in 2nd rd, Craig Davis WR SD and QB Kolb Phil in 3rd rd, M Griffin in 4th Rd, Brian Leonard RB rams, Eric Wright DB Denv and Chris Houston DB Atl in 5th rd, Kolby Smith RB KC and S Nicholas ATl LB in the 6th rds, David Clowney Wr GB (another good choice) in 7th rd. & T Smith QB of Balt in 7th rd. I liked Brian Leonard RB rams in 5th, Kolby Smith RB KC and S Nicholas ATl LB in the 6th rds for value.
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – Eli Manning and Pennington are choices here. Manning is in critical year to show if he can improve his accuracy and leadership without Tiki Barber. Carr is backing up Delhome and rookie Kolb Phil and T Smith Balt in development.
RB – Gore SF and Maroney NE or C Williams TB with only rookies B Leonard and K Smith as depth. Key is Cadallac Williams looking like he did the first half of 2005 and if Maroney can handle full load.
WR – This unit needed help prior to off season and got it by getting DJ Hackett Sea and Galloway TB to go with starters J Walker Denv, P Burress NYG, and S Moss Wash. Mark Bradley Bears and C Davis SD are added depth.
OL – Ram, 2 Saints, Phil, and 1 Colt as starters and Cardinal, Pitt, Giant, Redskin, Jaguar, and Pitt as backups. Excellent line of high scoring teams
DL – Burgess Oak , Hali KC, and Kearse Phil as starters with Carriker rams, D Walker bills and Warren NE backups. Key is J Kearse with both his age and injury from last yr as he has a high salary for the Eagles as well. Hali will improve his sacks. Warren had career yr last season.
LB – Ray Lewis Balt, A Thomas NE, N Barnett GB, Mitchell giants, with Boley Atl, T Davis Car, and Gaither Phil and Rudd TB as backups. Gaither will play passing downs for Phil and next year take over in middle as starter if not sooner. Strong starters and good depth.
DB – 12 DB’s at this position. Landry Wash, Griffith minn, and either D Hester Bears, Jimmy Williams Atl, T Law KC, C Rogers Wash, Kevin Kaesviharn Saints, or (http://dynasty.efsports.com/cgi-bin/WebConnect?*DTTwdf=FFXOWPL/FFXOWPLI&ACTION=S&*DTTpage=owpl.htm&PID=7513) Considine Phil. Manning Bears and Taylor Pitt as depth along with rookies C Houston and Eric Wright cinn.
Kicker – Starters Gould Bears and Feely mia
Summary:
Tough division with Victroy is Mine and Brookies. QB depends on E Manning, and RB must have at least either Maroney NE or C Williams TB carry the load and produce with Gore. Little depth. Improved depth at Wr to go with strong WR. OL is strong as well. DL lacking productive depth but Burgess and Hali to go with key Kearse is formidable. Excellent LB and depth. Harder to dissect DB as many inter-changeable parts. Kickers solid. I see 10 wins if he can beat div rivals 5 of nine times. Will make playoffs

Brookies Div 1 Team 3
Key Off Season transactions
No trades were made
In RFA and UFA, no acquisitions other than R Oben OT. Original owner did nothing and new owner held steady.
2007 Draft 1st Rd L Timmons LB Pitt, 2nd rd Okoye DT Cards, D Revis DB jets and J Durant LB Jack 3rd rd. J Thomas OL Clev and K Irons Rb Cinn 4th Rd, A Branch Arz DT in 5th rd. Blacklock OG Atl and Bazuin DE Bears in 6th rd. I like K Irons RB Cinn for value and Timmons LB Pitt
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – McNabb and Hasselbeck should both rebound from injury prone and sub par years in 06. Grossman either improves or Bears look for another QB. Frye is out in Clev. Rodgers of GB will have to wait still another year.
RB – McAllister Saints and either McGahee Balt or F Taylor Jaguars. D Williams Car will have good opportunity to take over bulk of carries. Can he hold up? R Williams has no future, L Washington jets a change of pace back behind T Jones, C Perry Cinn can never be depended upon. K Irons nice pick as he will pass by C Perry.
WR – A Jonson Texans, S Smith Car, and Boldin Arz form a outstanding trio with Branch Sea as a backup to the other 3. K Robinsen, M Jones Jack and N Burleson Sea provide little comfort.
L Smith Phil and T Heap are the TE with Heap being top option to come off bench if he can stay healthy.
OL – Phil, Colt, Denv, Sea (if Gray wins OG job) , and Jacksonville, depth is Pitt, Car, Minn (if M Johnson can win job), and rookies J Blaylock Atl, Satele Mia, and Thomas Clev. Dead wood includes Timmerman, R Oben, and K Sampson KC.
DL – J Smith Cinn, Freeney Indy, and Kampman GB are excellent with Ekuban Den James Hall rams and K Lang as depth. Rookies Branch DT Arz, Bazuin Chi and DT Okoye Texans will all get starts.
LB – Vilma Jets, Ryans Texans, Brooking Atl, and D Jackson Clev. Depth is Greenway Minn, D Morgan Car, R Colvin NE, Crowder mia, O Thurman Cinn, and two rookies Timmons Pitt and Durant Jack. Lehman is forever rehabbing from Det.
DB – Strong starting 4 in D Hall Atl, Tillman Bears, Polamalu Pitt, and G Wilson NYG. Bullocks Saints will compete as will Revis of Jets. M Brown Bears can not stay healhty
Kicker – J Kasay Car
Summary: QB McNabb is key here. RB are 3 deep with D Williams Car. Little depth behind them. Wr starters strong with Branch Sea as first off bench with Heap Balt. OL has strong 2 with another solid 3, then thin after that. Strong starting DL and solid LB. DB starting 4 excellent with thin backups. I see a 10-6 team and playoff slot in tough division

2007 Draft
M Bush 3rd rd Oak RB, C Henry Tenn Rb 3rd rd, Merriweather DB NE in 4th rd,
T Hunt Phil 6th rd RB, and J hill SF WR in 7th. I like RB Bush, RB T Hunt, and Merriweather DB
Position Analysis – Starters, Depth, & Age/Career Path
QB – M Vick will start until he serves his suspension, then it will be J Campbell Wash. T Jackson Minn is the 3rd option unless J McCown Oak starts the first half of the season for Oak
RB – Trades for S Jackson and Maurice Drew make this position very formidable with J Norwood of Atl coming off bench. There are 4 rookies listed here too, M Bush Oak, Pittman Saints, T Hunt Phil and C Henry Tenn. All of these rookies will in crowded backfields, especially C Henry with C Brown signing with Tenn and D Rhodes now on Oak.
WR – Roy Williams Det and B Berrian Bears with either G Jennings GB, D Williams Balt or S Holmes Pitt as the 3rd WR. C Jackson on NE will be no factor this year and C Henry Cinn wont be available to play until Nov. Keys will be TE V Davis SF and Shockey NYG
OL – NE, Cinn, Rams, Det, and Dall will start. Backups include 1 Ariz, 2 Balt, 1 Jet, 2 Cinn backups, and another NE backup.
DL – J Peppers, Seymour NE, and of Umenyiora Bears as R Coleman Atl is out for half season.A Carter Wash is depth.
LB –D Williams Denv who moves to MLB, Briggs who will come to camp late August, D Howard Oak, Tatupu Sea are starters with Lawson SF , Dansby Arz and N Harris KC, all of which are excellent alternatives to start.
DB – D Landry Balt, Huff Raiders, K Simpson Buff, and a slew of young talent in Merriweather NE, N Collins GB, R Nelson Jaguars, Joseph Cinn, and M Jackson colts, and E Weddle SD
Kicker – Graham cinn and Elam Denv
Summary:
Much rides on M Vick and his legal issues and inconsistency. Unproven depth behind him. Has Top RB in Jackson and 2 big playmakers. Rest are rookies. At WR, S Holmes and Jennings GB will be key as well a V Davis TE SF. Strong at OL as depth will depend on Stepanovich Cinn and Gandy Arz if they start or are backups. DL is lacking depth and must have Peppers have big yr and Umenyiora of NYG be productive. This unit is vulnerable. LB is strong and 7 deep. DB is very young. How quickly can they step up? Kickers are excellent. This team has 27 rookies or 2nd year players on its roster. Built for the future but also a playoff team this year between 9-10 wins
