I've tried, but there is a 48 hour delay apparently.



Madman, c'mon, whatya mean? LOL

I've had two goals. 1) to cut salary. This team had about 18 mil to spend. I was dead in the water. 2) in cutting salary, I still wanted to stay competetive. With all the trades, even if I did take a step backward, I think I'll still be competetive and also set myself up better for the future. Got a little younger in some areas as well.

That being said. I'd still like to make maybe 1 more trade for a quality RB or WR. I've got a 1st rounder in 2007 that is available. I also have 2 firsts this season, but I may keep a hold of them. I'm not above trading them as well, lol. I would trade F.Taylor (1year contract) and a draft pick or 2 or 3 to get a real good RB.

Anybody still looking to better their teams via trade? I'm not going after trades as hard as I was, but I am looking to make a move or two. If anybody needs some receiving help, I am putting Todd Heap out there for a decent draft pick. I, personaly, don't think this draft class is strong in the receiving corp, so if you are in need of help, Heap could be a nice addition.

I also have John Abraham. I'll trade him for possibly a lesser DE and decent draft pick.

FYI, I just listed my AIM and YIM at our league page, just in case anybody likes to use the messenger to pound out trades. I couldn't figure out how to add them until just now, duh. I probably overlooked the right link a couple times.

I'll tell you what. This is shaping up to be the best league that I've ever played in. It looks like I've finally found a place where most (if not all) of the players are as into fantasy football as I am. My wife hates it, but I will say this. She hated it more when I was golfing. She kept nagging every year about my golfing until this past summer I had enough and broke all my clubs (Titleists). :shock: I did keep the club heads, and I will reshaft them one of these days :D. Sometimes you just have to do those things so the wife knows that they're more important :P

What I mean is. Sometimes I don't even know when there's been a trade, if I'm not thinking and checking the trades link. Does everybody just routinely check the trades link or can you set up something that can notify you?

Forget that last question. It was only last night that I saw the "Alerts" at the top right of our home page. duh. All this time and I never even payed attention to it up there. Oh well, problem solved I guess.

Just an FYI. I'm putting John Abraham, Adam Archuleta and my 2006 2.02 pick up for trade. I am comfortable with Abraham's salary, but I am looking to unload it. I am currently in trade talks, but I wanted to put this out there in case we can't come to terms. If I give Abraham and my pick, I would be looking for someone comprable to Abraham (if not better) and maybe a good DB.

Just an fyi for anybody wanting to deal for the 1.08 pick, I'll be in all night (watching Lost and Invasion, as I don't usually get to working the hours I do) if anybody wants to IM me and knock out a trade.

I'm looking to do one of a few things. I've been trying to trade my way up to one of the top 3 picks, or I might be willing to trade for a defensive player (or 2). I am willing to trade that pick, a player, and even my 2008 1st round pick (all depending on the right player(s) of course)in order to get the deal done.

Yet another FYI. I'm willing to put up future 1st round and 2nd round picks togain a pick in the late 1st round or very early 2nd round) of the 2006 draft. I don't know who would like to make any type of move. I'm sure Benchwarmers might be willing, but I can't get a response.

Example: I might be willing to deal my 2008 (I don;t have early 2007 picks) 1st and 2nd round picks for a late 2006 first rounder.
