Gents,

I'd like to introduce myself as the new owner of the 03 franchise - The Fierce. The team is well set up to begin with, but I'll be working hard to improve it and add my own personal touches.

You'll find that I'm a trade-aholic and I'm generally pretty plesant to deal with (so long as you're not way out there.) I look forward to working with and competing against all of you.

Zach

Welcome to league 58 (aka MY WORLD)... As we only need 5 more owners (thank gad) hopefully we can get this boat-a-floatin' shortly.

Make that only 4 more teams to go before we're rollin'. Welcome Fierce, I'm glad to see things are turning for the better in Lg. 58. It would be nice to get RFA going before the NFL Draft.

Welcome aboard.

Hopefully we'll have better luck making a deal than we did in 3001 :)

Good luck

I have a bit more to work with here than I do in 3001 Roy. We'll give it another try sometime soon.

I talked w/ STEELERS yesterday (Mark Dulle) and I believe he intends on re-upping eventually as well... So hopefully we only really need 3 more.

Car... Game on...

Looks like we got another owner on board. If STEELERS jumps on board as expected, we only need 2 new owners. I think its safe to say those remaining two owners aren't going to renew since they haven't logged on since December.

How about we give the grandstate of Wisconsin some props for having 6 of the 13 owners in Lg 58. DoK, I don't know why you'd want to move to Cal when there's so many dedicated FF diehards right here in this cold, boring, cold state we live in!

Reason #769 to get my scrawny, white ass out of Wisconsin. Though my love for fantasy football is more true thansome 50-yr-old'sluv for the Pack by inappropriately sportin'GB Packer Underoos, the fact that the best thing we can do from Nov - Mar is sit our lazy asses in front of a PC and toggle between EFS & porn is kinda sad.

But all judgement aside... keep it up y'all and let us fill this league ASAFP!!

Do you 3 newowners know each other or is it just a coincidence that you all joined Lg 58?

Well kids, we're down to two! Sorry Mark, looks like you snooze you lose. Maybe you'll decide to stick with Lg. 58 and pick up one of those two remaining teams for sale. I think we've got a great group of owners now and hopefully that will help attract the final two we need!

...and then there were two... But if anyone else has looked at the RFA eligible players, there's not really too much to get excited about this year. A couple of my other leagues have had MAAAAAD RFA sessions, with plenty-o'-talent available. This league's available talent looks a little weak.

All the more reason for trades my friend.

Agreed. I'm very anxious to get the trades and RFA sweet action going in this league.

BTW - any trades you guys want to get worked up with me on paper before trading is actually open I'm willing and eager to listen to.

Just wanted to say welcome aboard to all the new owners. I'm happy to see so many other Wisconsinites joining.

I've been kind of quiet here the last few weeks. Kinda busy, but still checking the message baord and e-mails so I'll be happy to reply to any trade offers. Nothing else interesting to say.

Carry on,

Yo all, just sitting back listen to celtic women while my inlaws play cards, while I of course review all these wonderful draft options. I only picked up in RFA Greg Lewis WR , I am in need of some picks. Oh yeah for all y'all in Wisconsin, it is a chilly 76 here in Tampa, I almost had to wear socks today. :D

Yap Yap I know why all this yap, hopin' for some trade action around here. Whether you fell sorry for me or mad come on with the offers. If you are interested we can work something out involving picks if not players.

Who is watching the draft? I suck at predicting who will go where. ESPN I am sure get laughs at my entries. But I still could beat y'all .

I've told ya once I'll trade for the 1.01, I've told ya twice. This third time I'm just going to steal it from you while you're watching the draft. Hook me up Promise!

ITO the draft, predictions while fun are just so, so fleeting. Nobody ever comes close 'cause none of us are privvy to probably 1/10th of the information the scouts get prior to the draft. Armchair QB'ing is one thing, anyone can play Madden.

Don't be so quick to judge. Being an armchair QB is far from an easy task. Trying being around some of my buddies when the 12oz's are flowing... One little mistake like getting Tommy Vardell's 2nd son's birthday wrong gets you criticized like a VY Wonderlic score. Gotta know your stuff, man. You can go from the penthouse to the outhouse tut-sweet (sp?) if you say dumb stuff in this league son.

GO JETS! (... not an example of dumb stuff either #ssholes!)

We may just have found a new sucker, er, owner for JollyGreen. See the Admin forums. Let's get these last couple owners filled and rock out with our c%cks out!

Still stuck at 4 owners needed. Really was hoping to have Lg 58 up and running when RFA starts in a couple weeks. Anyone know of possible owners that could take some of these teams? I'm batting .000 right now in active leagues and it blows!

Stripes is also batting .000 with the ladies recently too, so what else is new. Any thoughts on changing this league to a 12-man if we sit too long?? History is showing that it's waaay more easy to keep the flow from year to year (and we'd have some maaad-ass fun UFA bidding of players on the ousted teams) with just 12 rather than 16.

I enjoy the challenge of 16 teams, but man, I hate the delay in action every year.

Thoughts,

Not a bad idea coming from the FORMER Lg 58 Champ. Sure I'd prefer to stick with a 16 team league, but if switching to a 12 team league means getting things rollin' then I'm all for it. We've got a solid core of owners so maybe a 12 team league is the way to go. What does everyone else think?

I'd rather stay 16. To me the more teams the better. I even play in a 24 team league at MFL. I just like it better and with only 12 teams that's just to many good players for every team. But if the majority want 12 teams I won't block it. ( but would probably just sell my team) Which shouldn't be a problem since it's paid for this year and a pretty good team with all it's draft picks. But I'd play till it could be moved.
