I know we've beaten this one to death, but Suggs is still listed as a DE on the Ravens' depth chart... So, what gives? He's an EFS OB and while it might be the game's reality, it's not the depth chart print, so... please, kindly, gently, make him a DE, at least until Wk. 1 or a change in the chart!!!

These latest changes listed by QSSGuy, listed as being updated in the database, as well as some previously listed as updated (at least 7204 Adalius Thomas, NE, to IB) are not actually showing up in their new positions, at least not in my league (52).

And rookie FAs are not there either. The season starts in two days, the lack of position change updates makes it hard to set starters for the opener.

Now here's a new one that I can't figure.I'm in 2 leagues,#15 and #3006.I have Rodney Harrison in league#15,where his status shows as probable,even though,as previously mentioned,he is suspended for first 4 games.I tried to put him on I.R. anyway,just to see if I could,but could not,as his i.r. status,would only show N (for not available)...BUT in league #3006,the team that has Harrison HAS him on I.R.,even though his status is listed as probable.I've put guys on i.r. before,so I don't think i've done anything wrong...could someone please help...this affects a number of roster moves for me...at least answer this...thanks

Bears placed LB Michael Okwo [#8562] on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, ending his season.

One wonders if the Bears are just stashing a young player who wasn't going to help them much this season. They aren't exactly deep at linebacker, though, and now won't get anything from their second- and third- round picks this year. Okwo still has long-term IDP upside as Lance Briggs' possible successor.

Not to belabor the point on this one, but in addition to the team's own depth chart on their website having him as a DE, he is listed as a DE on NFL.com's BAL roster (not sute how NFL.com gets any info other than from the teams themselves):

The same is true for Ngata he is listed as a DT but EFS changed him to a DE a couple weeks ago. I have not been able to find him listed as a DE anywhere but here. Someone I was talking to suggested it has something to do with how they play the gaps as they switch between 3-4 and 4-3. I am not sure but the Ravens call him a DT so why don't we.

Note: EFS is still the best thing going, keep up the good work SID.

Ahah......... Apparently Terrell Suggs is listed as the starting (drum roll please) RDE............ We'll know more in a few hours, but it's listed that way on depth chart for the game!! :-)

The following will all be fixed in the final stats.
1. Dante Wesley will not have a clone playing for the Patriots.
2. Chris Myers will be moved to OG.
3. Jeff Wilkins won't have 42 blocked FGs.
4. Suggs will be listed as OB by Quick Stats. Tonight's Gamebook lists Suggs as starting at ROLB for the Ravens.
Ourlads also lists him as ROLB. That settles it.
5. Also, according to the Gamebook, the Ravens don't have ANY defensive ends...

On any other team, Pryce and Ngata would be called defensive ends. Your basic 3-4 defense has a NT, 2 DEs and 4 LB, 2 on the inside, 2 on the outside. Furthermore, DE is where Ourlads lists them. Leave it to Billick and the Un-Browns to take something this simple and make a mess of it. Quick Stats will list them as DEs.

Me again (trying not to piss off the SID) but I agree... whatever the pos. was for wk 1 was cemented for the season. Who is to say Jones will start next week? Unfortunately, this rule also gave us Reuben Droughns stuck as FB when he started playing RB (a couple of season ago... cost me a SB), ditto with Nick Goings... but it's always been: end of Wk 1 = pos. for the year.

You guys need to get your stories straight.

When a customer tries to use a team site depth chart as proof of position change, he is told that does not constitute proof, only ourlads and gamebook do.

The EFS rule, on the outdated book, and confirmed by sid last week, is that week 1 gamebooks fix a players position for the year. Well, for week 1, Dockett was listed as DE. He should be moved there for the rest of 2007.

I have no interest in Dockett playing any position, but I am disturbed at the lack of consistency here. What defines player position in EFS? When is it final?

Week 2 yes he was a DT. Week 1 he was a DE. Since the rules say we go by the week 1 Gamebook I stopped bidding on him when I realized he was listed incorrectly in EFS and since i needed a DT not a DE in 666. If he was not going to be changed as the rules state for whatever reason then that should have been made known by those with the inside info, instead of not changed or answered.
