$4m for 5 years + 2007 1st round and 2006 4th round wasn't enough to pry T.O. away. Then, $4.8m for 5 years + 2006 2nd round pick wasn't enough to even be the highest bid on Plaxico Burress.

Man, oh man... I thought I had a decent chance at both players. I'll have to step aside on the run for Burress. Too much for me. Hopefully my WR corps will step up this year.

fierce? I got a top 5 ILB for .350 and nobody even upped my bid. Edwards is a stud, given up a low 1st is definetly worth it for him but nobody wanted him

he's also old & could be done at any time. if he performs as well as he did last year for this year alone, that's a STEAL. if he pulls a lisfranc or a frank burns, not so much.

i -do- think it's odd no one else wanted a piece of him. if i didn't already have a bunch of ilb, i might've went after him.
