Here are the week 3 key matchups:

ZDevil @ Legend

Z's 1-1 and Legend is unluckily 0-1-1. This is as close to a must-win game as there can be in week 3 given W.S.D.M.'s 446 ppg clip and 2-0 record. It doesn't look like either of them lost any key players from last week. Legend still looking for his first explosive game.

Liberty Vultures @ Rooting Rebels

This one's for the division, boys. Liberty's heavily favored, leading the Rebels by nearly 100ppg avg after 2 games. Carson Palmer's en fuego along with most of the rest of his starters. The Rebels may contend with an ailing Kitna and has yet to see Peppers blow it up.

Thunderwolves @ The Omen

If the Thunderwolves could've put up 1 more mpoint in week 1 he could be playing for the division. As it is, he's averaging 426 ppg, 50 behind the Omen, needing a more robust performance to knock down the defending champ. The Omen not only looks to go 3-0 but to regain the ppg avg lead from Liberty.

Thanks. I've had that happen to me a couple of times in years gone by.

But make no mistake, the Omen is still the team to beat.

Here are the week 3 results:

Upset of the week

With apologies to Philadelphia Freedom (who whopped WSDM), Sic Sic Sic Um Dogs beat the biggest pre-week3 spread (of ~90 points) to take advantage of a Marauders down week, winning by almost 80 points. No free Sic Um wins this year!

ZDevil @ Legend

Z loses by 9 points to the Legend who, if an Akin Ayodele point fix is ever applied, should be the rightful current king of DIV4 after this win and WSDM's loss. Legend won this game on tackles and the return of Jared Allen. Z begins a second season in-a-row with just 1 win after 3 games.

Liberty Vultures @ Rooting Rebels

Liberty also scored the advantage at defensive tackles as well as receiving points barely winning his game by 11 points. Anquan's scoring big in Fitz's crybaby "absence", putting up 50 this week! Liberty is one of two undefeated teams left (not counting Legend).

Thunderwolves @ The Omen

Thunderwolves barked at the moon and laughed at any possible omen, exploding 548 points! The Omen put up a big score too, 503 points, but that wasn't enough in his unlucky week 3 matchup. Thunderwolves top scorers were Favre (you're welcome) and Wimbley, where every player but *2* scored double digits.
