Here are the key week 4 matchups, the first double-week of the 2007 season. This week i'm going to focus on those teams that need to turn their season around NOW before they fall too far out of the playoff race already. These are all candidates for upsets of the week.
Liberty Vultures @ You Gotta Love it (DIV1)
346 point average, 398 peak. You Gotta Love It needs receivers and some solid running-back. He'll be without Rocky McIntosh and most of his rushers & receivers against Liberty, the #2 PPG team in the league, one of only two unbeatens left, who will be without Jason David, Charles Grant and Fujita.
Warlord Phantoms (DIV2) @ The Omen
Warlord hasn't pierced the 400 point barrier yet and is pretty cap-strapped preventing him from big FA/waiver/PS acquisitions. He'll try to win without a quarterback. Meanwhile, the Omen leads in AVG PPG at 485 who has enough depth to not really hurt from BYE week 4 except maybe Nick Harper.
Beast from the Northeast (DIV3) @ Legend
The Beast is 0-3 averaging 346 PPG. He hasn't topped 380. His skill players and OL need more output. He'll need to rely on Grossman or Griese against the Legend who has no big player losses in week 4.
Philadelphia Freedom (DIV4) @ Lost and Found...some Help
Fresh off an upset and 414 points, Philadelphia Freedom will need to keep it up in a highly-competitive division which is winnable if he can sneak in some more divisional wins and score a couple more elsewhere. Andre Carter & possibly some lingering injuries could dash his hopes against the resurgent, UNDEFEATED Lost and Found. L&F will be without Brandon Jones at a difficult position to find a #2 guy.
