We seem to be talking the talk, but not walking the walk in regards to the $10 ante. I've seen (3) checks at my doorstep so far: The Fuzz, STEELERS & C4.

Keep it coming boys... I'm having a hard time copying/pasting from the old forums, so hopefully you can access & read the rules and/or EFS transfers our topics ASAP.

Not too bad a start for a newly formed league; hopefully next year more saps will be willing to ante up some cash. The purse this year stands at $50.00. Good luck to the following teams:

So there's a chance that whoever comes in 12th place in this league may win the purse. I like those odds. I have a chance even without a RB!

Tomorrow night @ shoes would be too late to submit a wager for this year. As the original intent was to have the monies BY WEEK 1, I had extended it thru week 2 because I am a nice guy. I do not wantteams being 7-0 later in the year suddenly getting in... tu copa, mi amigo. Besides, you had over a month to get me that damn $10, and you only live a couple of minutes away from me. Maybe if you weren't so engrossed in having sex with that saddle wearing, belt buckle shining, cowboy hat toting, money vacuum of a girlfriend, you'd have more time for EFS.

Sounds to me like someone's a little bitter that I have a better record than them. I understand that it sucks to be you, but you don't have to take your frustration out on me. I'm not just talking about your fantasy team sucking, I'm talking about your lack of getting sucked too!

How long has this post been here? Never saw it. Anyway, going 4-13 and finishing last has a tendency to cause some people to not pay up at year's end. That is why I tried to collect as much by week 3 to see who was serious about wagering. That way the winner gets his winnings. Not saying I don't trust you guys (heck, why should you trust me necessarily) but I don't trust many people in general. People tend to suck most days.

Thru week 7 $$ standings. Looks like by just making it to the playoffs will win the $50... A lot of season left however! (You guys may have noticed that your checks have NOT been cashed yet... Please don't cancel them. I just want to assure you that I didn't take the money and spend itin a Tijuana stripclub... again!)

And considering the green division is weaker than weak, technically all 5 of us are still alive for the playoffs I think. But maybe I should start to think on how I'll spend my extra $50 bucks... Hmmm... Maybe I'll take Stripes ex-wife out for drinks again!!

'Tis the last week of the regular season, and we still have some playoff position battles going on. The only secure spots are #1 & #2 w/ Stripes & C4 respectively. The "red" division is SlapHappy's to lose, but as he is tied w/ NU-Look at 11-6, both teams will still make the playoffs. Well done.

Now, the "green" division. I checked w/ EFS and, yes, someone does have to win this division. As all 4 teams are a 1/2 game within eachother, and one last week of division play ahead, this should be a doozy of a weekend. Not to be biased, but here's to rooting for StLouis 58, as he won't be a threat to my prize money!!

As this league was a great one in its first year, be sure all you non-playoff teams re-up for 2006. We seem to have a good core here in this league. With EFS ponying up some prizes in 2006, it should only get better.

A hearty congrats to all in this Lg58 for a great season! More so to BattleStar, WMD, Fuzz & STEELERS for graciously donating their money to my beer fund this past weekend. A couple cold ones always taste better when bought by someone else!!

As the playoffs are upon us, and Stripes and myself get to take the week off & hope nobody gets hurt, good luck to Legend, StLouis, NU-Look & CS Panthers on their battles this weekend.


An "awe-shucks" goes to Slap Happy Monkeys. As a division leader most the year, he got edged out by NU-Look this past weekend for 1st... and Legend snuck by him as the wildcard by either scoring more points or beatinghim head-to-head in week 8; not sure which is the decider. ALL TOGETHER NOW: AAAAWWWWEEEE-SHUCKS! (sorry Bill)
