You can't enter your Rookie List until your commissioner sets a draft date in the system. When that happens, you get a "rookie draft" entry on one of the menu lines, and "rookie draft" gets added to one of the dropdown menus.
And, I don't know where the VAC flag went. I just asked about it in another post.

We started the draft, and still no rookie list

Can you get to "Find Player"? If so, go there. Select "Rookies" and "Draft Order" and "All Players". Hit enter. A list of rooks will come up. Click on the guys you want, and a popup will come up asking if you want to add this guy to your draft list. Hit yes, and he's added. Then hit the BACK key on the browser to go back to the Find Player list. Continue.
This only works if the draft is indeed activated.

Ugh, this is awful. Can we have the old style list where we typed in the pid's? You know, for your customers who can read and think.

It really isn't that bad, once you get used to it. Do the Find Player thing to get the whole rookie list. Click on your #1 guy. You'll get a popup that asks if you want to add to your Rookie List. Hit Yes, and you'll get the Rookie List with your guy in it. Hit the BACK arrow on your browser to go back to the Find Player list. Find another guy. Repeat.
The thing I had trouble with was rearranging the list. You know, if I really want Lendale White BEFORE Joseph Addai, etc. It was easier in the old days, but not bad once you get the hang of it.
Find the guy you want to move. Change his number to the new position you want him at. Do not hit ENTER. Do this for the next guy, and the next, until you're ready to reset the whole list. Then, hit the button at the bottom of the page (Submit?). Now, review your list. Is it in the order you want? No? Repeat the above.
It isn't bad. And you don't have to worry about entering PID's - that's done for you.
Good luck!

I would MUCH rather type in each pid,all on one page, than do all the clicking you describe above for each player.

How about this as a compromise (and i don't know when i'll have time to do this)?: When the rookie list is generated (rookie type, draft pos status, all), present a special button that will put ALL of the draftable rookies onto your draft list? then, you can just update the sort order, which can be done all-at-once. How does this sound?
We're not going back to entering PIDs. We're steering away from being visibly PID-driven. Ideally you shouldn't care what a guy's PID is.
