First, let's start off with the playoff hunt.
DIV1: The Thunderwolves have taken over with a 10-4 record and a 2 game lead over Soggy Bottom Boys and The Omen (the defending champ). Soggy and Omen both play You Gotta Love It while Thunderwolves plays Philadelphia Freedom. Soggy's kiss of death might be ZDevil in week 12. Omen's divisional problem is his div record.
DIV2: Mephisto takes a 1 game lead on Liberty Vultures with near-identical schedules. Only 1 team difference and they are pretty close on AVG PPG. Both teams play Lost and Found which will hold big implications for the three teams. Despite Warlord's valient week 10 sweep, he and Rooting Rebels have been disqualified this week.
DIV3: With Sic Um and Beast disqualified this week, it's down to Lost and Found (2004's champ) and the Marauders (2005's champ). It's back to a tighter race after Lost dropped 2 games and Marauders won 2. Their schedule differs by Marauders playing Rooting Rebels while Lost plays Mephisto. To win the division, Marauders will need another double-week result like week 10 or for Lost to lose his remaining divisional games.
DIV4: Another season, same story for ZDevil, dominating again, ready to coast into a top 2 seed. Given his AVG PPG, he has almost clinched a playoff spot. W.S.D.M. is still in the wild card race given his AVG PPG but has 3 tough games coming. Legend plays Philly but Z plays You Gotta Love it, making that a wash, probably setting up a meaningless season-ender versus Z. For a wild-card spot, Legend plays both Soggy Bottom Boys and Omen in week 12.
Second, the last-minute trade implications.
DIV1: Soggy swapped Jumanji for Ronde Barber. i don't see this helping much but Uguhchugga has become an injury risk this year.
DIV2: Liberty bolstered his ILBs with Paris Lenon and his RBs swapping a bunch of good picks and Edge for Addai. He probably improved his AVG PPG by at least 15. But mephisto also bolstered his team by about 15 AVG PPG picking up Flozell and C.Woodson. I think the big variable will be Addai.
DIV3: Lost and Found made the biggest moves, betting big on the Patriots, grabbing Ben Watson and Wes Welker along with Alex Barron, probably boosting his roster by 25 AVG PPG. The Marauders stood pat. Will be interesting to see how this turns out.
DIV4: ZDevil bolstered a slightly-fuzzy RB situation trading CIN RBs and pick for cold-filtered MJD. W.S.D.M. traded away talent thinking he's out of it. Legend, normally an active trader, stood pat.
And now this week's top matchups.
Marauders 666 @ Beast From the Northeast
The Marauders can't afford any losses at this point and faces the strongest team out of the playoffs. He'll have to continue to wonder what type of games he'll see out of his CBs, Jason Taylor, Zach and Bulger, as well as hoping Chad Johnson doesn't cause more of a distraction than points. The Beast is weak at QB, RB depth and receiver.
ZDevil @ W.S.D.M.
Even though he declared himself out, W.S.D.M. is still in it. He really needs this game though despite it seeming like an impossible win. On quick scan, W.S.D.M.'s lack of receivers would be the #1 reason he might not win this game. Z could clinch a playoff spot and/or the division this week.
Thunderwolves @ Soggy Bottom Boys
Soggy needs to win to win the division. Thunderwolves -almost- clinch the division with a win. Soggy could be missing Sean Taylor, Cullen Jenkins, Corey Williams and Charlie Johnson, as well as seeing the demotion of Andre Davis. Thunderwolves might be out Reggie Bush (backup RB) and still could be without Santana Moss.
