Tanking

[Montana Grizzlies]

The Montana Grizzlies wish to file a formal complaint against team Rapture for the action of tanking a game in L33. The submitted a lineup consisting of players who were ruled out, backups for the sole purpose of losing a game, thus letting the team that beat them move from the second overall pick in the draft to third. They own what is now the second overall pick. Their reply show no remorse, and a complete lack of concern for the ethics, moral, and spirit of the game. They have an attitude that they are above the rules which EFS has in place. They have tried to shift the blame to others for what has happened in the past rather than accept responsibilty for their current actions. Please consider this for EFS court.

Lestat essentially agrees with everything in Montana's complaint. The tanking of the game was purposeful for his own benefit at the detriment of another third party team.

I think that this incident needs to be investigated by the court.

Frankly, I'm really sick of this crap that has been going on in this league.

I also agree that an investigation needs to be done and everything Montana said was dead on accurate. If you need more of a statement on this post let me know.

NO, I addressed this, the #2 pick will be moved to #8 and all other picks moved up. Tanking is NOT accepted, and I feel this is the best penalty under the circumstances.

I fully accept your ruling. I would now like to know the punishment given to Team Spartans for his '02 and '04 "tanking" infractions.

I would assume the punishment would be more severe considering multiple seasons/weeks were involved. I look forward to your fair ruling. Please keep in mind...a murder committed in 1967, as opposed to 2007, is still a murder.

Sid to be honest in 04 I did not tank I just had an invalid lineup due to overbidding and could not drop enough players to get a valid lineup but had my team preset to compete and even won a few games. In 02 I did tank to improve my draft position so decide what you will and I accept full responsibility.

You see Rapture it's easy to admit when you wrong its called being an adult.
