It kind of depends on the amount of time everyone can dedicate to the draft. Also, if folks are using there vacation flags and veteran lists.

in the general forum there is a thread saying the new record is just over 12 hours...with the old record being 30+ hours...

Can the draft be broken up over 2 days? I think it would be tough to get everyone in for 30 hours straight.

I seen that posting earlier today, that is definitely a dedicated group of owners. I don't think I really have time to spend something like 30 hours over 2 days. I don't mind setting the timer at 6 hours if that is possible. Otherwise the draft could go on for weeks as an owner probably won't have the vacation tag on. Whatever the majority wants will be fine with me.

Greetings everyone, I'm game to get the draft started. I like the format they use, if we start the draft early enough there will be no need to have a 2 day marathon. If you guys are like me, you actually do have a life. so a 6-12 time frame on picks works for me.



Since we are starting the league earlier than they had planned I would name it something with premature in it.

Rog, team 10, I like the live draft we can make it easy for guys with a job we can do it over a couple of days just doing 20 roundsif you like, and let the computer fill out the remaing roster spots.Anything after 20 rds is a crap shoot anyway. Remember there are the rookie and veteran lists that you can fill out to help if you have to run oof for a few minutes during the draft too. It doesn't have to be a marathon requiring all of your time. That's my suggestion however, majority vote will prevail. The important thing is to pick a format quickly.

In regards to the draft, I just didn't want to do all the veteran rounds in two days.As a league we have plenty of time before the start of the season to complete this process and that would take a lot of time out of those days. That was all I was saying.

I'm game for live drafts to get most of it done, but I'm in favor of making all of the picks and not having the computer choose. This is dynasty and this year is theonly chance we will get to draft our core teams.After that it'srookies and tradesevery year. I certainly put my vote in to email pick whatever rounds we don't do live draft on.

Ifit is possible with the system my vote would be toset 2 or 3evenings for 10 rounds each, then email pick the rest. If werun low on time we can always schedule another live draft to finish up. :)

First, One guy left to buy in, if he does not I have another ready to take his place. Second, IF yall can get together and do a live draft fine. BUT you gota get finished by Aug 15 so you can do the Rookie draft followed by the FA period. Any slackers and we will be forced to let the computer pick. This is purly up to you. But you gota get going. I would suggest everyone start working on a draft list just in case, you do not want my program to pick for you, it sucks.

Second, since most of you are new, I'm gona keep a close eye on what is going on, after yall get moving I will get out of the way. The draft will start tomorrow (sunday) at 16:00UTC. If you are not familiar with UTC/GMT it would be a good idea to do so, the server runs on this time system, the same as the military and airlines. Just as a note there is no email draft, you must enter a list, pick or the system will give you a guy you don't want...;)

Some people every year blame me for screwing up their draft, been running correctly for years. This is the main error list makers make. The bypass count, counts WHO IS ON YOUR ROSTER, NOT WHO IS ON YOUR LIST. If you have questions post here or in General and someone will help you. BUT, MAKE A LIST... MAKE A LIST...MAKE A LIST.

Draft lists are not allwing entry..... SID can we look into this?

To change your team name,at the top of the screen you will see a a bar thathas Ef sports home, the next option is "TEAM",put your mouse there and it will bring a drop down menu, choose "owner master" from there you can then enter your new team name. This is also how you turn your vacation flag on and off.

As far as your veteran draft list goes is it allowing you to click on the player name and add them to the list?
