It starts week 1 of the regular season. I believe the official date is the Monday before the first game of the regular season.

In the rules page it says it starts august 15th,and runs thru week 10. Which is correct?

no problem, I think it is just a cosmetic issue at this point. Same thing happened last year. 2 years ago I think you could start bidding on guys Aug 15, but they made a change. Which of my guys you looking at ;)

Is it the beginning of week 1,i.e. prior to the start of the season,or after the first weeks games?

the beginning of a week in efs i believe is monday midnight gmt (monday evening for most people, but technically the beginning of tuesday in gmt). For week 1, this is 09/05 00:00:00 gmt.

I assume you meant 9/5...not 8/5?

rockey,

Did PS bidding start a day too early? I was going to move some guys of my PS today, but they already have bids on them now?????????????

I went to move a couple of players off of my PS today to find bidding already began and they already had bids. It said the following at the top of the screen:

Set your starters (http://dynasty.efsports.com/efs/EFSFootballServlet?OP=setstarters) by 9/8 to field OAK & NE players for week 1. PS bidding begins 9/5.

Now admittedly, Oak vs. NE on 9/8 should have tipped me off that 9/5 wasn't correct either. I checked the rule book because I thought it was starting week 1 (and I took that as meaning 9/7) and the rule book says Aug. 15th 2004.

When are you going to update this? The calendar in the rule book hasn't been updated in 2 years!

The first day of the season is the Monday GMT/UTC before the first games. That was Sunday night at 20:00EDT/19:00CDT

And yes 9/5 was wrong and the rule book is badly in need of an upgrade which we are going to do before January.

And as IBM has told me on many occasions, sorry the book is wrong, but it was not a failure in the code.

We had several players in league 30-06, who were bid before the updated clock, but awarded less than 24 hours of the updated clock....I had posted a question yesterday morning hoping to find out when the clock would change, but by the time I got the response the players had been awarded, long before the four days they had originally needed to be awarded .....what is the rule on this?

If you have a situation where a player was awarded PRIOR to a total time of bid below 24 hours, we will correct it. It the issues is he was 24 hours or more in waiting when the season started he had therefore met the 24 hour minimum and was awarded, that is the way it works.

The bid has locked on the the ps bid that was made on D.Jackson (IB) on my roster. When I try to match it, it keeps telling me there is a error on the page & it will not let me do anything. Can this be fixed asap, as I don't want to lose this player.
