I was wondering if each player's salary increases/decreases each year based on performance? If so, how much do they raise in a given year and how what criteria is performance based?

ALL players' salaries will increase 4% each year at the start of the new year PLUS the top players will receive additional raises for performance (up to an additional 8% I think it is) with the top tier receiving the highest raises.

Each position's tiering is different, check the rules website for exact info on tiers and amount of raise per tier.

The only "decreases" occur in RFA (with a lower, unmatched bid) or if the player is cut and clears waivers (becoming a UFA).

The final players at these levels get less than 1% additional raise
