I don't like Nick's salary but love the fact that he is a ILB. I realize that he will most likely be moved to OLB next year so that will hurt his stock a lot. Barnett fills a major need for me. I am comfortable with giving a 1st for him and getting a 3rd in return. I am also banking on having a good record so hopefully my #1 pick will be in the later part of the round. I am interested in what other GM's think?

I haven't checked your cap room, but if I remember correctly you had plenty so I think this trade is good for you. Particularly if he ends up staying at ILB for a couple of years. The fact that you got a 3rd back in the deal makes it even better. Good move for both teams.
