I've just been waiting to see if/when all the rookies have been put into the system. Being Thursday, if the rookies are loaded within the next couple days, maybe we can be up and running by Sunday. Fingers crossed

As soon as we get the green light to start the drafts, I will set up our draft for the following day (midnight GMT). This would ensure that the first pick would have at least 24 hours to check in and be able to make his/her selection. I will, however, email the league as to when that draft start time will be. Example: If Sid pops on tonight and says "You have the green light to start all drafts", I will NOT set our draft time for Monday at 8:00 pm EST (midnight GMT). This "may" not be enough warning for some. I would, instead, set the draft time for Tuesday at 8:00 pm EST. This would give everyone at least a 24 hour heads up.

Since the site cannot be pulled up right now, I don't know the draft order or who has the 1st pick, but if I get (let's say) the first 3 guys (in the draft order) to respond and say "It's ok to start the draft earlier", I will do so.

I think the site is having some glitches, so I can't pull up all of your emails right now, but we have the green light to start drafting. That being said, since it's 3ish in the afternoon, I'd hate to start our draft in just 5 hours, so I set our draft time to Wednesday the 7th (tomorrow) at 8:00 AM EST. This "should" give me enough time to email the league, even if I'm not able to get through to everybody until the early morn.

when do you have to have your roster down to 53 people?

if you want to bid on UFA,set a starting lineup, bid on waivers your roster cannot exceed 53 active, 8 PS....

certainly before week1 of the NFL season you will need to be there...thats a time of last resort tho

I just wanted to know because of the draft and having 7 or so new guys will obviously put me over but some might not even make my team =)
