Here are the key matchups for week 8.

You Gotta Love It @ Lost and Found... some Help

In part a favor to Jason, i'm featuring him here against You Gotta Love It. Lost and Found is in a dead heat battle against the Marauders and Love It is no pushover... sometimes. Half of the time he can put up huge points as was the case in week 7. He needs some good fortune in week 8 as he (and Soggy) can possibly be put on the brink of playoff elimination.

The Omen @ Sic Sic Sic um dogs

Sic Sic Sic Um boy! He scored 424 points in week 7 and is only 1 game off the lead in a division sub-0.500. Even though he's 40 points off the co-leaders, this gives him a chance. But good luck winning against the #1 ppg team (who scored 454 last week). The Omen will be without a couple 20-ish DBs and Roy Williams while Sic Um will be without Lee Evans and possibly Greg Jennings.

ZFactor @ Liberty Vultures

There's that damn tie still, currently Z's saving grace maintaining a half game lead on the Legend. Both teams average 420ppg+ and are in the division lead. Z's without T.Mcgee, London Fletcher, Angelo Crowell (BUF defense hog), Willis McGahee and Matt Hasselbeck, out about 4 weeks. Liberty's only major absence is Ronnie Brown. Z's a heavy underdog.

Update on Z: he has just acquired Brad Johnson and is trying hard to grab the Hasselbeck-up.

Week 8 Results:

You Gotta Love It @ Lost and Found... some Help

This is how Jason rewards me, with a loss to You Gotta Love It (and Thunderwolves). Love It's linebackers and OL won the day. Lost and Found falls 2 games off the divisional pace while Love It split his games to remain 2 games off the wildcard.

The Omen @ Sic Sic Sic um dogs

291 points. That's the Sic Um i remember from last season. 503 points. That's the Omen of this season. The Omen looks like the team to catch as both the PPG ($100) winner as well as top seed. Reggie Wayne and a great OL show won the day easy.

ZFactor @ Liberty Vultures

Another 500+ point team, resurging after a slow start to the season, is ZFactor. What bad can be said about his performance? Terry Glenn and Torry Holt disappointed? BAH! Meanwhile Liberty slipped a game off the divisional pace in DIV2.
