I think the Slappers have finally come out of their slump in the Jungle.
Posted our 2nd 200+point week in a row. I've been waiting years for this:D

heh, heh, I just checked out the standings and saw the Slappers and Mich Mountains had big weeks again and are sitting high up in the standings. I came to make a post about it, but saw you guys beat me to the punch. Way to go.

Nice Job, Greg. Mike, as usual, you guys are right there, too. Let's hope we can close this out. I see Cliff has taken over the top spot. Here's to a huge ending.

good job fellas
heh, heh, well it's my turn to do a little bragging.
We've been trailing the guy leading our FJ league all year. At one point he was something like 68-4 and we had about 16 losses at that time. We were also behind him by about 100 points. He was also sitting in the overall #1 spot in the Jungle.
Well, we kept chipping away and chipping away, and we finally caught that dirtbag this week . We're now 1 game behind him and we overtook him in points. We're both a lock to make the LCG and are feeling pretty bullish since our team is on a tear and his is struggling.
On a different note, I see that Mich Mountains, Slappers, Beermen, Superpions, and Sol Diablos are all doing well, too. Good luck next weekend guys. It'd be cool to see a bunch of us from 3006 make the FJ LCG and playoffs.

I saw that, Mike. You guys have vaulted into the top 10. Congrats!!!!
The Slappers are very worried going into the final week. If you can believe it we are 4th in our league but #1 in overall points. I don't know how that happens but it has. We are up around 60 points to the next best team. I just hope we don't tank next week.
I've been riding Vick all year but I'm actually thinking of sitting him and starting McNair next week. Any thoughts on that??????
Yeah...transfer some of those Jungle points to your efs team, losing to you hurts my RPI..heh heh:P

Congrats Mike! You have made a really nice move up the standings. I on the other hand would have to put up a 225+ and still need some help to make either of my LCG. Unless I completely collapes I should finish 3rd or 4th in both leagues. Both teams do still have a shot at a wildcard, so hopefully one of them will make it. Sol Diablos was in the top 50 and then the top100 most of the season, but my Penetrate the Hole team actually passed them in the standing this week. I owe the Diablosdecline, and the reason they are not playing for the LC, to 2 things. 1. Taking C.Chambers over M.Harrison at 3.1, and 2. Having the Ravens Def, picking up the Steelers Def to play matchups, and getting burned by Pit 3 weeks in a row.
This has definitely been the best showing for 3006 in the jungle. I would love to see one of you guys win it all this season.

Well A.J.,you & I can concentrate on trying to make the efs playoffs.."the real test of champions".....since my Jungle duo stink!

Well guys, I should have known. I hate this **$%(&$ game.
The Slappers had a monumental meltdown today and lost our 53point total points lead going into the last week, and thus knocked ourselves out of the LCG. I would like to thank some people for this:
I hate- TJ Housh, Alge Crumpler, Steve McNair Ladell Betts and Tony Romo. You all shit the bed and I don't think I can ever forgive you.
I would also like to thank myself for sitting Jamal Lewis and Travis Henry (not that I would have played them anyway).
Here's to waiting another year.

Looks like my playoff hopes died in week 11. I'm becoming an odd year team. Won my leagues in '03 and '05. Sucked footballs in '04 and '06.
I hope one of you guys can take home the title!

Won't be us...lost McNabb, Colston...left Travis Henry & his 26 pts. on the bench...watched everybody else's guys go f'ing crazy this week...CJ, Evans, plus Tomlinson's usual 4 td's....F it.
Guys, sorry to hear about some of the meltdowns. But Slappers, you're still in 27th overall and will get a wildcard entry into the championship playoffs. Even though you're out of the LCG you still have a chance at some $$.

Colston goes down!!! Colston goes down!!!! Glad I have Muhammad and Berrian on the bench. If the jags D scores 6 points my LCG turns into a pumpkin.Guess I will go with Muhammad, D-Jax, Reggie Wayne in the Playoffs. ^^MM^^
MM, I just checked your league results for this week and saw that since the Jag's D scored 17 you didn't make the playoffs. Damn shame after such a great season. At least you'll also get into the champ playoffs via a wildcard.
The guy we face in the LCG has McNabb and only 4 receivers and two of those receivers are Crayton and Gabriel. He has only two starting RB's (Ronnie Brown and Fast Willie) and 1 starting TE. He has no choice but to start Garrard and Delhomme in his QB/flex positions.
We're hurting a bit since we had been starting Thomas Jones at flex. Our lineup will probably be McNair; LT, Gore; Anquan, Plax, Jennings; J. Stevens, Watson, or Desmond Clark at TE (we can't decide). We'll have to decide between Plummer, I. Bruce and perhaps one of the TE's at flex.
See you guys in the champ playoffs.
Hey Slappers and Mich Mountains, I just checked the Jungle champ div playoff listing and I see that you two both are the highest listed wildcard teams to make the playoffs. What were the odds of that
I'm starting out 8 points out of 1st place and Slappers and Mich are 17 and 21 out, respectively.
Good luck guys, I hope one of us brings home the $30K :P

Thanks Mike. I still have a hard time swallowing the fact that we didn't make the LCG with the lineup we had. I guess sometimes it's bad to have too many choices.
Thats okay, though. It's a new game now. I'm hoping that the Slappers can, at least, money. Good luck to you all.

My team out scored both of the LCG opponents by at least 30 points, I think. Its called taken a f'n. lol
Hey I've got an idea. Lets agree to split our combined winnings three ways, proportionate with our average points. Basically 33% each. You know...a hedge. Who said I wasn't a genius?????? ;)
I'll play. All owners in 3006??? :P

Not even a nibble? Heres a riddle. If 3 neighbors each own 40 acres of landand each of them sign an oil/gas lease for their adjacent properties, what is the smartest thing they can do after signing their leases? Trade mineral rights so they each own an undivided 1/3 interest in the combined 120 acres! I don't think this is considered collusion in fantasy football is it. I mean, what doyou guys have to lose, since I have the best team anyway?
Hey Mich,
Thanks for the idea but we're going to pass. It's all or nothing, baby ;)

Gordon, can we get some odds for the boys on who has the best chance to hit pay dirt in the Jungle? As I said before, I believe I have the best team of the three now that Merriman is back! /\/\ /\/\

Be carefull, once Gordon Sherridanputs out the odds,it might be twice on sunday. You might have to bet 2:1 since MM is usually a black dog at his sportsbook!
Only do odds on efs....You better take care of that team Mich.,otherwise you'll be on the outside looking in.

God this week blew. Reggie Wayne did shit. Romo did shit. LJ can't keep up with LT2. And, of course, I left about 100pts on my bench.
