Waiver Claim Rules Question

If a team cuts a particular player, are they allowed to claim the player off of waivers? I thought this was against the rules, but it has been done in a league that I'm in.

No, it's not against the rules, how do you know they he reclaimed the player, has the player been waiver claim awarded already? If not, the system will list a WC, but will not show who made the claim, the only way you see the team # is if you make the claim, then you see your team # as the claimer.

The player has already been awarded.

Thanks Z, I wasn't aware that you could claim the player after you cut them.
