With seven games to go the divisional races are really heating up! Looks like some divisions may not be won until the final week. Ten teams have records above .500 and have a legitimate shoot at the title. Here is this weeks power poll.
Week 8
#1 Hegemon +1 (9-2)- Holds league's best record and is the highest scoring team in the league. New player aquisitions have filled in nicely. Can they hold on to the top spot?
#2 Warlord -1 (8-3)- Team laid an egg week 8, failing to score 300 pts. Pivotal divisional game this week vs. Austin.
#3 Zfactor +2 (7-3-1)- Defending Champ is coming on strong. Will the tie in week 7 come back to hunt them?
#4 Liberty +3 (8-3)- Team is having a very solid season. WR's are putting this team on their back. With their continued production this team is staking a claim to the Red Division. Key divisional game this week vs. Necro.
#5 Diablo -2 (7-4)- Team has struggled somewhat the last couple of weeks and has opened the door to L&L in the blue division.
#6 Lestat - (7-4)- One game back of Liberty in the Red Division. Scoring has been more consistent of late and is in good position to make a push for the playoffs.
#7 Austin -3 (6-5)- Team is definitely within striking range iof Warlord in the Black Division. This week's head to head match-up is a very important one.
#8 Raven - (7-4)- Scoring is up in recent weeks. Team has show impressive resolve getting wins without their star RB.
#9 Necro +3 (7-4)- Team isn't scoring much (333ppg) but is getting much needed wins regardless. Is in good position for a playoff push.
#10 L&L +1 (6-5)- Team is only one game back in the Blue Division. Definitely in position for a playoff run. Much continue production and shake off the disappointment of scoring over 427 and losing to Liberty in week 8. Can they bounce back?
#11 Legend +1 (4-7)- Team must get hot to have any hopes at the post season this year.
#12 QueDog -1 (4-7)- Not mathmatically elliminated from the post season, but must get hot in a hurry.
#13 Machine - (3-7)- Rebuilding this team will take some time but new G.M. appears up for the challenge.
#14 Wayne - (2-9)- Team is struggling this year but the G.M. is very active at improving this team and it shows.
#15 Sedentary - (2-9)- 300 ppg. is not what was expected from this team. There's alot of work to be done, but with 2 rings in 3 years this team will respond.
#16 UpNorth - (0-11)- Team is just looking to get a win, no-one has gone winless in 777. Injuries has taken it's toll this year.
There is still alot of football to be played, but the divisional races are taking shape. Trading ends on the 15th so make those moves and do your team proud!!!
