Roster Question

When do you have to have a valid roster / contracts on draft picks by?

I am hoping I will at least be able to see how people are doing in training camps before I have to assign contracts / cut people... am I able to wait that long?

If not under contract, your rookies will cause you to have an invalid roster (your team name shows up in red). With an invalid roster, you can't do much of anything except straighten out what is causing the roster issue. No UFA bidding, no line up setting, etc.

You have basically until the start of Week 1 games to have a valid roster if you aren't planning on doing anything else. I don't think there is any other time limit on how long a rookie can be on your roster w/o a contract.
