The week 11 matchups can all be titled "last chance sweepstakes". The playoff teams right now are fairly clearly defined but combinations of hot & cold streaks could sneak someone in.
Beast from the Northeast @ Marauders 666
If the Beast loses, he's out. Plain as that. His real playoff shot is topling the Marauders, eventually tying him, with a Lost and Found slide. Must-win.
You Gotta Love It @ The Omen
You Gotta Love It still techincally has a shot at the division and a decent shot at a playoff spot. To do the former and help with the latter, he needs this game against the Omen who proved vulnerable for only a second week in week 10. For the division, must-win. For the playoffs, really-nice-to-have.
W.S.D.M. @ ZFactor
Z's in the playoffs. Next task, the division and locking up that #1 seed. But for W.S.D.M., he's playing for his playoff life. A Legend win (playing the flagging Philadelphia Freedom) coupled with his loss, and he's looking at 2007. Difficult odds and a near-must-win.

Kudos to Rockey on a Job Well Done for doing the Forums each week !!!
It certainly is looking like we have 8 Contenders and 8 Pretenders for the 6 Playoff Seeds in LG666 !!!!
And No 11th Hour trades in LG666 - interesting !!!!
Injuries are certainly piling up in the NFL and in LG666 !!!
Roster Depth may be the deciding factor !!!
And may I take this opportunity to Thank God that I don't play the Lost and Found.....Some Help Team again in 2006 - WE will certainly NOT meet in the Playoffs because either the Marauders are in the Playoffs orLost and Foundare in the Playoffs, butWE BOTH are NOT in the Playoffs !!!!
Good LuckTO ALL the rest of the way !!!
THE MARAUDERS

i'm not sure about others, but i took care of what trading i felt was necessary a bit ahead of time. that 11th-hour stuff last year was madness.

The W.S.D.M. @ ZFactor game is tight going into monday night. You Gotta Love It should win a pathetic low-score-fest despite losing mcnabb, but that'll come to monday night as well.

First the week 11 matchup highlights then playoff implications:
Beast from the Northeast @ Marauders 666
Marauders puts up 527 pts (w/HF) to clinch his division. Beast is out.
You Gotta Love It @ The Omen
You Gotta Love It KEEPS HOPE ALIVE on two fronts. First, in beating the Omen he still has a shot at the division. Also, he's two games away from Legend (seed #6). However, Legend beat him head-to-head, so he basically needs to win 3 and hope the Omen or Legend lose 3. Tough odds.
W.S.D.M. @ ZFactor
W.S.D.M. couldn't hold on and is now out of the playoff race.
Playoff race:
Eliminated this week are the Thunderwolves, Soggy Bottom Boys, Rooting Rebels, Sic Um, Lost and Found, Beast from the Northeast and W.S.D.M. Liberty Vultures and mephisto both clinched a playoff birth with wins this week.
It's basically a 6.5 team race -- most likely the omen, liberty, mephisto, marauders, zfactor and legend will make the playoffs. It's almost a given. But You Gotta Love It soldiers on and still has a shot at both his division and seed #6. As stated above, he needs to win 3 and hope either omen or legend loses 3. He plays Z head-to-head this week and Legend plays Omen.
Otherwise, the 6 finalists are jockeying for playoff seeding. Z has the inside track for seed #1 and can be no worse than seed 3. Liberty & mephisto's last 4 games (including this concluded week 11) held the same common opponents except Liberty faces Marauders while Mephisto plays Lost and Found in week 12.
