Big divisional games this week, 3 of which are for the division lead, on our way to the half-way point of our 2005 EFS season.

"Free" sic um win of the week
The Beast of the Northeast hosts Sic Um in a game that might not be a big gimme when you consider beast is #15 in ppg to Sic Um's #16. This could be the tiebreaker in the race for #1 2006 rookie pick.

marauders 666 @ lost and found...some help
Lost and Found has experienced many injuries and underperformers this season and somehow still is tied for 1st place in his division. He takes on co-div-leader marauders 666 who is without 2 quarterbacks himself this week, losing Griese (probably for the season) and Bulger in week 6.

the omen @ elysian fields 22
The Omen's currently a game out of the lead and 1 game out in div record, so a win here would help big for omen, or possibly drown him early if elysian can continue his high-scoring (#3ppg) ways. No major buys or injuries here.

Liberty is the #2 league scorer with no major injuries or byes himself in week 7. i have a number of important players sitting in week 7, led by tom brady. i'm going to need my depth to come through for me -- doesn't look good.

The half-way point of the season is here! Here are the week 7 results...

"Free" sic um win of the week
My hunch here came true as Sic Um won another game on his "back from the dead" tour of league 666. He didn't score over 400, but it doesn't seem like that'll happen often. To continue to win he'll need more games like this (from both him & his opponent).

marauders 666 @ lost and found...some help
Marauders by 120. Not even close. He had to rely on Bledsoe and some other underperformers to win, but the next couple of weeks can only pose an annoying, temporary "lull" for him. Even with the loss, Lost and Found is still in the thick of an interesting playoff race.

the omen @ elysian fields 22
The Omen comes away with the high score of the week at 492 points, burying elysian, posing a strong challenge for the division crown. Elysian still leads however, as this head-to-head matchup isn't a top tiebreaker -- ppg comes first. But the way Omen is scoring of late, that shouldn't matter in a few weeks.

Regardless of what Vick had planned for me, i still pulled out a win over Liberty to tie him up in our division. Somehow i'm seed #2 as i lucked out and caught Liberty on an off-week, seeing good production from my DBs and LBs.
