Default 8517 DE Gaines Adams Chi

its sad to hear that he passed away at a very young age.

those of us that have him on our rosters, what recourse do we have in managing our roster with him on it? if he has a multi year contract will we incur penalties in future years for cutting him?

all players who have passed away still must be released from your roster and any penalties will incur from the release. EFS does not removed deceased players from owners rosters.

I believe the NFLPA collective bargaining agreement states that deceased players under contract do not incur any cap penalties. Shouldn't EFS do the same?

I do not believe that is accurate. While the players current salary may not count, I believe all bonus money is still applicable to be applied to the salary cap. While the NFL team may be able to recoup the monies similar to when a player retires from an accounting perspective It's dead money against the cap.
